I love howard and the gang, but when it comes to them commenting on Satriani, Vai, Malmsteen, etc. You have to remember that they know nothing about guitar playing or the true talents those guys have. Because shredding was never really mainstream, they know nothing about their work...at least not enough to really comment on it with any sort of credentials. And the only who knows anything abotu guitar is Fred, but he is so a classic rock guy that he poo poos shredding anyways.

@UFCfanboy7898 why does listening to unique music mean i must have no life? i have a pretty good life, and howard knows fuck all about guitar, he fails to recognize that many many many groups of people exist in the world, and this is a guy who watches american idol...nuff said, the fact he asks other people if it's a great solo says it all mate. howards great but he admits he cant tell a good 1 from a bad 1, hence poo pooing technical and emotional brilliance while playing bands hes "heard of"
