I think that new glass you have replaced is not fully pressed to touchscreen. Or you cracked touchscreen (even small crack in the corner can make phone unresponsible)

Acabo de subir el vídeo con el iPhone reparado, hace ya más de 6 meses que esta reparado, pero no lo subi por pereza... funciona a la perfección, aproveche para cambiarle la carcasa trasera.
El cristal lo pegue con una cinta adesiva de doble cara transparente muy fina, la puse en la parte superior i inferior de la pantalla, NO EN EL LCD, entre el LCD y el cristal puse una "insivible shield" ya que si no aveces perdía el táctil.

Correction, the digitizer does not require the glass to function.
You likely damaged it and now will have to replace the whole LCD module.
This can be done, but it requires hours of chipping off the glass shards. Then you have to go to the hospital to have the glass removed from your hands and eyes.
Oye bro como hiciste para quitar el puro cristal sin dañar el lcd? es que al mio le pasa alreves, le falla el lcd, tiene manchas y me venden el puro lcd sin cristal pero no se que tan riesgoso es cambiarlo, espero me puedas ayudar.

ok so you scraped the broken screen off with a knife. and after you clean it all up and everything do u just glue the new screen back on? i seen a video where he just glued the screen on n it worked fine.
