The current resident is Garech de Bruin (sometimes Browne),, Built in 1787 and extended in 1805 the La Touche family, Dublin bankers of Huguenot origin, it was bought in 1937 by Ernest Guinness, the brewing dynasty, as a wedding present to his daughter, Oonagh, and her new husband, Lord Oranmore and Browne, and inherited by their son, Garech.
