What's the impressive part is that she's a mezzo-soprano and that's nearly impossible for anyone with her range. So really all in all she has a total of 4.3 octaves.

Love them both but I prefer Beyonce more than Christina. Her voice is 'clearer'. Christina is amazing but recently she tends to get a little too 'shouty' at times.
