Resampling in Ableton Live

Whats the difference between choosing 'resample' and 'master' on audio from?

@SoundGauge If you choose audio from master, you'll be hearing the master on that channel as well from the master (basically doubling up the whole sound)

Resampling mode takes audio from the master, but doesn't monitor the input from the master while recording.
