I was at this concert. It wasn't filmed. Possibly the best I have ever been too. The Union Chapel is an amazing venue, that won't allow third rate musicians to get away with poor music.
PCO were pitch perfect, and the atmosphere was truly magical.
Oh, and the ticket was a birthday present from my fiancee.
Did you all know there will be more concerts this summer? I believe they are being booked under this name: Music from the Penguin Cafe and they have several dates booked ... look at the Penguin Cafe site
I had the privelege of being at this concert, 10 years to the day since Simon Jeffes died, and it was was an absolute pleasure. It was great to see Simon's son Arthur taking part and with such obvious enthusiasm. It's a shame they've decided not to continue.
I didn't find out about the concerts until they were over. That was the second time I missed the chance to see the PCO live, and probably the last, so thanks for this taste.
La universalidad de la música de la Penguin Café Orchestra es innegable aún sin Simon Jeffes. Aunque nadie sabe que hubiese podido seguir ofreciéndonos de no haber muerto hace diez años por un tumor cerebral!
Can anyone find Air a Danser by Royal Ballet a website please. Have seen it once but can't find it now. Thanks

If you buy the cd 'preludes airs and yodels' you'll find the transcript for this tune on the inner cover.
