It's a Range Rover, it does exactly what you want it to - it's bespoke British luxury with a rugged edge. It may not be the fastest, or the most car like, or the greenest, but it has character and a unique, confident style all of its own, which is something which can't be said for German SUVs

Range Rover sports are great cars:

Big gas guzzling engines, s-l-o-w acceleration, bad handling, limited offroad ability, expensive, big heavy and annoying in towns and you look like a posh soccer mum

What's wrong with a big sedan? If you're not going to ever go off road then don't buy a 4wd, you simply look like a dick.

Comfort? If you mean the seats are soft, most luxury cars are just as comfortable and nearly as big inside.

Crashing these cars into Concrete barriers does say something about the safety.. But whats more likely, crashing into another car or a concrete barrier?

Raised driving position gives you a sense of safety and security. Range Rovers also do not have a limited off road capability, and then also handle exceptionally well for an SUV.

You should know that crash testing is barely done against a wall.

1500kg rolling chassis slam into the front, back, side and diagonally along the side.

The 4 star range rover and 5 star large sedans protected occupants equally.

Although the 5 star sedan is obviously slightly safer.

It's nothing to do with size, just design.

Name one thing a range rover is exceptionally good at.

Well of course it has something to do with size. You search Audi Q7 vs Fiat 500.

Both are 5 star cars, yet look at what happens to the Fiat.

Im pretty sure if it was a Range Rover it would have done the same.

Bad handling, it corners completley flat. limited yet beats nearly every other off roader.... A big sedan is alot more dull to drive or be driven around in. id take the range rover over a sedan anyday.@damo1128
