  • looks like kahului airport....BTW, anyone out there looking for good flight training, DON'T go to to ATP flight school.

  • is this maui, hawaii? i think its kahului airport

  • For those now considering being a flight instructor; no, most students are not that cute.

    -Robert, CFII

  • @RobertGary1 I work the line at a flight school, your statement is 100% Accurate..

  • Damn!!! She sooo hot and she wants to learn to fly. I wish she was my girlfriend so that she'd actually be interested in what I love to talk about.

  • She will have a problem parking it! I can see it now!

  • Wow ..Shes a doll

  • hot girls flying planes . This is the best job ever!!!!

  • she is HAWT!!

  • she looks nice but sorry to say that she can't fly..

  • @ounpug It was her first flight, I didn't expect much.

  • WOW!! That approach and landing is sooooooo...(aduknw) orgasmic

  • Love the death grip lol we have all done it.

Good instructor informative, funny and relaxed well done him.

I wonder what school this is?

  • @mocatx I death gripped myself,

  • Very nice video man. You seem to be a very good teacher. I get that focused relaxation listening to you.

  • That's a funny looking kitchen... nah im kidding :D

  • try to send you a private message, but any way i would like to for commercial pilot. i had the money but i end up using if to get my BS in mechanical engineering. now i want to be a pilot rather but always seems like money right now is the issue.

  • @Eyhab12 Good job on the engineering degree, that will look good on your resume for the airlines.

  • Excellent video and instruction. No military IP yelling at her and making her quit. Good job.

  • @im103mike2 Thanks man, I thought getting yelled at was the price you had to pay to learn how to fly. I figured out later it wasn't....

  • Jeff country airport!!! OS9! Go Port Townsend!!!! The Spruce Goose has THE best food! If anyone flies in the area knows what I'm talking about, if you ever make a X-country in the area, stop in for a burger.

    Love WA!

  • @camiladellelce Pretty much cheese burger heaven. It's a prerequirement prior to the oceanic up to the San Juans.

  • I always love seeing lady pilots....I think a woman interested in aviation is one of the coolest things ever.

  • "now add the power, you'll start feeling it, make sure your feet come down now just go ahead and shove it all the way in" seriously?! HAHAHAH

  • @R52OSO Another guy said the same thing six threads below. So congratulations, your the 75th guy to say the same thing..

  • @askcaptainscott Come on guy, it's funny. She's a cutie and the CFI says "Shove it in"? You HAD to know it was going to garner that kind of attention. Just nod and if YOU are the CFI, grin and say "OK boys, you got me" and laugh it off. At the end of the day, the rest of us are jealous.

  • @askcaptainscott Ah, the infranets...Thanks for having a good sense of humor though, Capt. Scott!

  • Shes Hot, and a good pilot

  • Someday Id like to work towards my pilots license.

  • women drivers are already dangerous enough... please don't teach them how to fly too...

  • @x87alpha1 Hey man, I've flown with a lot of very talented female pilots on the 747..

  • This is awesome, and she seemed to do quite well! I'm looking to getting my private licence. looks like a lot of fun! : )

  • "you'll start feeling, just make sure you're feet come all the way down and shove it all the way in." 0:08 seconds in.. lol I'm sure that guy didn't mean anything by it ;)

  • How do you record the audio? What cable did you use to record the audio? And where did you get it?

  • @Ghost31096 I'm using an independent audio recording system. One mike goes to each headset and one is a direct line in for ATC and intercom. It took a while to get the audio figured out.

  • Damn....she can work my throttle any day. Cpt. Scott u lucky bastard.

  • id join the mile high club with her

  • hey cpt scott te her to fb me

  • Airplane, best way to escape from the kitchen.

  • See that's where stuff like flight simulator comes in handy you

    Know the basics

  • She did a great job at maintaining that centerline for a first-time student. Nose moved slightly leftwards owing to the normal turning tendencies, but it did not seem to be a problem.

  • @AVIATIO I hear you there. I almost took out a few runway lights when first started flying...

  • @AVIATIO while on final i heard him say "follow me through on this" to her. i think he landed and she was just riding the controls.

  • Hi, my names Scott too and I'm 15. I love aviation and was wondering how I would be able to afford all licences?

  • @scottt923 Get a job after school and save every penny. That's what I'm doing right now :)

  • @TheRealNaxos There is no good one's and it would take me forever

  • @scottt923 Same here, shitty salary. But if you ask me, if you really believe in something you do anything to reach it.

  • @TheRealNaxos I know, I was thinking about getting a loan..

  • @scottt923 Hey man. I'm also 15 and I just started flight training. I already have two hours. I know it's not a lot, but like you said, it's expensive. Just take it slow. At least where I live, you have to be 17 to get your PPL anyway so there are still 2 years to rack up those hours. Good luck. :)

  • @3snowyman Good advice!!

  • if you people are interested in ppl,,,google askcaptainscott and look at all the vids,,will give you a great overview of what flight training is all about,,with a good instructor

  • why didn't she get naked? damn it!

  • @richski662 Because that would have been to big of distraction in the cockpit!!

  • @askcaptainscott I want to fly with her... at the end of the world...

  • @askcaptainscott no kidding ...try explaining that accident to the FAA!

  • @askcaptainscott You said cockpit=)

  • @richski662 Now THAT is a training flight.

  • @richski662 Sterile cockpit bro! Thats why hahaha

  • great video.

  • I flew in this airplane the first time i had training..it was pretty fun

  • watch?v=6rl2Fzcm3e8 she got her training from me, see my video and watch full video ad to support me! thnkx

  • @EastStonemason Who is this guy?

  • @askcaptainscott ur mom

  • She didnt do anything..crap

  • thumbs up if you clicked on this vid not to watch Cessna training

  • shes cute

  • Bouncing on landing is embarrising when your on a check ride with the CFI. Look out the windows but keep an eye on the VSI !

  • Actually there's a neat trick to flaring out a plane before touching down a 172. Pull back on the wheel, keep an eye on the vertical speed indicator. Pull the nose up and aim for -300 fpm. Works like a charm. You wont bounce. Instructors wont teach you this when your learning VFR because they prefer you look out the windows. But if it works, why not use it. Its better than bouncing - been there done that.

  • nice landing. good chirp

  • this is one of the better videos iv seen just to give students and idea what they will be doing and hearing before they step in the plane. best video.

  • @askcaptainscott no it is a museum owned my john sessions. feel free to stop by sometime.

    taxiway K7, our hours are Thur. - Sun 10AM - 5PM

  • @Cadet0149 I'll do that for sure..

  • @askcaptainscott do you guys do helicopters also I've been looking for a helicopter fight school

  • @richiexboxlive Ya, airworkllc Ask for Franz. He's got a Sikorsky 300C.

He's at Renton airport.. Totaly cool guy.

  • my god, pretty girl flying an aircraft... err i'm soooooooo jealous !

  • Was that runway moved from 8/26 to 9/27 or something? ;)

  • @homer30009 Ya, years ago it was a grass field. When you'd approach from the east you got a lot closer to the house up on the hill. I dont know when they paved it as I was out of general aviation for several years.

  • i would love to meet this girl and talk about flying.. im an instructor too. my rating is PA-38-112

  • 0:39 buildings in the background by the instructors head. the museum where i work they must be departing from paine (KPAE) 132.950

  • @Cadet0149 Is that Paul Allens museum.

  • Hot girl.

  • @Mrsmith42e Yea, she is hot! That's why i've watched this video!

  • @p0iuytr3wq Ya, that's why I made this video:)

  • @askcaptainscott hahahaha cheap shameless plug! I love it. We have proven today we click/vote with the smaller of the brains. Hey we're pilots, they're only human.

  • hot student is hot!

  • ya

  • dats my neighbor

  • nice job hanne

  • she looks like my neighbor ohh wait she is

  • she is hot

  • @prowler505 Thank you for your constructive criticism. Should I have told her to push forward? Should I have said rotate? Please clarify. Please include your ratings, total flight time and 747 PIC jet time. The viewers need this information to validate your comment based on your qualifications. Again thank you for taking your time to post

  • @askcaptainscott great video man..When I am back in the US,I am gonna need a good instructor like you to get my PPL..

  • @askcaptainscott Make sure prowler uses real flying time and not his FSX 747-400 time..Very nice video by the way, i'm doing my Commercial and gearing for the CFI and this video is a great aid to learn how to train new students!

  • @askcaptainscott Based upon prowler505's activity feed when clicking on his name, he is the epitome of a poser, a want-to-be, and someone that has probably never taken a single hour of instruction. If prowler has tried to get a pilot's license, I wonder how many CFI's the person has gone through because I'd never want a student like that (If I were a CFI) I have 120 hrs (115 in a C172 and about 10 hours towards my instrument) so I'm not arm-chair QB-ing this. I had a great CFI.

  • Comment removed

  • @prowler505 How would you have said it captain? I have a feeling you don't have a damn clue.

  • @prowler505 Trrrroooloooolll

  • Its boooxyyy!

  • Haha, I took flying lessons too, and I made the same steering mistake on the taxi LOL

  • ahh! I can't wait to get flying.. :')

  • She is tooooooooooo hot to exist lol

  • Very nice, very nice indeed.

  • Somehow, I now feel better that im going to be in pilot training. Long hair, metal band shirts 24/7 big ass pants. xD

  • didnt here a stall horn landing lol doesnt matter good stuff

  • I'd wish to fly with them

  • very advanced kitchen

  • the hot chick in a cockpit brought me to this video. I got flying lessons and a boner at the same time!

  • SOOOO, heard they put kitchens in airplanes, is that right?

  • damn i want to do that but its expencive so im going in the sky by a wingsuit know he he im kinda a adrenaline junkie

  • @askcaptainscott I'm 15 and going for my PPL when I'm 16, any tips?

  • @benyb96 always remember: Takeoff is optional, Landing is mandatory.

  • @PILOTasRAHMAN thanks! :)

  • @benyb96 Why wait until your 16. Start now I say!

  • @askcaptainscott thanks :) by the way i'm going to be captain scott as well!! :)

  • She's good with the throttle... ;)

  • hello captainscott... I am 29 and I always wanted to be a Pilot since my teenage. But unfortunate circumstances like 9/11 never let me achieve my goal that time and I took another career option at that time. I still think about being a Pilot everyday... Do you think its too late to start?

  • @msvisio No your still young enough. But plan on being poor for several years. If you can handle that your good to go.

  • @askcaptainscott - when you say poor how much are we talking?? Do instructors make around atleast 40-50K per year?? Also, plz do help me with how much time frame are we looking at? 2,3,5 years?? I am asking coz I am leaving a stable job / career behind so I need to plan accordingly (and may also try finding a rich wife in the meantime lol) thanks

  • @msvisio Unfortunately instructor pay I think is around $15 dollars per hour. It takes about three years instructing to get the flight time needed to work for the regionals. It took me twenty years to get into the 747. The rich wife idea works best.

  • @msvisio why don't you keep your day job and start part time weekends and evenings to see if you like it or can build a client base ..most cfi's are building hrs to ward the ratings to further their careers..few get rich doing flight training

  • @ted850760 - i actually am just starting. I have not reached instructor phase yet... I am only a student myself.. but part time idea is great if the school permits it... I will explore it! thx for the tip

  • @msvisio No! It's not too late to fly as a career. I'm a career A&P who's had a commercial/instrument for many years, though I rarely fly. However, due to large recent raises I have gone back to instruction, am getting current, and then plan on attaining my twin and CFII. I love working on planes, but want to fly. At 44 I have many opportunities with becoming an instructor. There's always a high demnd for CFIs who aren't just stepping toward the airlines or corporations.

  • @ProChoiceJesus - thanks for your advice! really appreciated! My ultimate aim would be to work for an airline one day and would prefer to work in growth market e.g. China, India etc. My only concern is if i some how arrange my fees for CPL and instructor license then I just need a decent job until one day I get into some airline (now this sounds easy but I will have to leave my full time white collar job for CPL!)

  • Holy cow he is a great instructor! And I like the dash cameras so she can see her performance and make any corrections before her next flight.

  • @Drake3209 Ya, the video is a great learning tool. I swear I only retained 10 percent of what my instructor told me when I was learning to fly.

  • HOW FIT IS SHE!?

  • @NevzOfficial An optometrist can help with that!!

  • @askcaptainscott Lol I'm saying she is good looking :P

  • Must be nice to have someone like Scott.... Trust me I have gone through ATP with several different instructors each have their own style the one I hate most is the... do what I say or I will punch you in the throat instructor yes I did have that experience at ATP.... but the calm cool collected instructors who understand you havent been flying for years and can relate to the queezies when going through thermals and clouds for the first time... and Scott sounds like an awesome instructor!

  • @Herculese182 Man, break one of his fingers. I bet he'll stop messing with you pretty quick. Thats the wrong way to teach anything...pm me his name. Aviation is a small world. What comes around goes around.....

  • @askcaptainscott the landing in this vid was smooth as a babies bottom lol chirp chirp chirp.... wait til she gets to fly a low wing aircraft thats when the fun begins so far its the only plane I have had a hard landing in...

  • @askcaptainscott My CFI told me yesterday that at his flight school in Texas there was an old guy that carried a ruler and was liable to pop your hands if you forget to throttle back or gripped the yoke to hard. As stressed as I already was with trying to fly in the choppy weather we had yesterday, I don't think I could've dealt with anybody popping me on top of that :)

  • did these 2 end up getting married..? lol..hot couple.. :-)

     Kirk..Montreal, Canada

  • @rhymeandreasoning I'm 25 years older than her. Pretty much a museum piece at this point :)

  • @askcaptainscott "a museum piece"? I doubt that..I guess it is my Montreal mentality us older guys ( I am 46) here in the city have an advantage over the younger guys, french women prefer us 'older-ish' dudes ;-) ..one benefit of being older lol.at least here anyway

  • @rhymeandreasoning Ok I'm moving to Montreal. I hear what your saying about french women. There is a story about a french girl that, well, she was talented, I'll leave it that that.

  • @askcaptainscott LOL..if you have never been to Montreal you must come ;-) once at least lol.... it is a great place in many many many ways :-)

  • You're a great instructor Scott. Your voice is reassuring. I had my first flight lesson yesterday and I got an Instructor that kinda teaches the way you do. I lucked out. Can't wait to get back up!

  • @shaindaman13 Thanks man.

  • @askcaptainscott Always my friend

  • @shaindaman13 It's addicting isnt it.

  • @askcaptainscott Are you kidding?! Flying is absolutely coursing through my veins now. It's so addictive.

  • i love her

  • @markyboy28able99 Ya, until the next hot one comes along. This is my quandry!

  • i wanna come too!

  • Very sexy looking lady you got there!!!

  • very nice very nice:)

  • Thats my wife ;)

  • shes amazing,,,

  • @askcaptainscott: Is there any difference in cost or difficulty between low wing (Beech, Piper, Mooney, etc.) vs. high wing aircraft (Cessna)? I know that attention is either forward or on instruments, but do they fly differently? Are low wing planes more difficult to land?

  • @bartofilms The Mooneys are a fast airplane, the big thing with these is to make sure you slow down before getting in the traffic pattern. As for cost, the faster it is the more expensive, and as for landing a high wing vs low wing, there are minor differences but nothing that you wouldn't figure out in a short period of time.

  • Video brings back good memories...Interested in aircraft? download my "Aircraft Guide" to light civil aircraft APP for Iphones and smartphones. Ful colour photos, specifications on huge number of types. I have even researched unit costs. Check out Itunes or Android. Author: DalyArcade / Dermot Daly.

  • what are they going to do next put kitchens in aircraft pfft. :)

  • Looks like a great lesson! Student responds to the calm, clear directions of the instructor. Well made video with the 3 cameras...Going to bring this to the next lesson. Thanks

  • she can be my pilot anyday

  • nice to see a woman behind the controls...need more of them!

  • @askcaptainscott ahahah, sorry dude, just made me chuckle

  • @askcaptainscott I have always wanted to learn to fly, but I am an insulin dependent diabetic. Is there any way I can make this happen or am I permanently grounded?

  • wow... you are a good instructor.

  • "push it all the way in" lol

  • @abzversion3 You win the originality award. Ok you're the 280th guy to say the same thing. I'm leaving it up so I dont get another 280 guys saying the same thing.

  • @askcaptainscott XD !!!!

  • I like this guys style. If I ever decide to learn to fly. I'm calling him

  • Hanne has gotten you 118, 647 views. I think you owe it to all the 118,647 guys to put up somemore Hanne videos...a whole bunch of em at that.

  • @aky19832001 The video's are on there way. Seattle weather's to crappy and windy for her to fly. She's getting ready to start the cross country stuff. So stby. There will be more.

  • your sir are a fantastic instructor, hats off to you !

  • I'm 39 years old. I want to earn my Pilot's license for my 40th birthday. How long does it take to become a certified Light aircraft Pilot in the US?

  • @shaindaman13 Don't waste your time with the light sport stuff (unless you might have a problem getting the medical) All the sport license does is give you a taste of aviation and then limit everything you are allowed to do. Get your private license, it can be done easily in 6 months and a lot faster with a little work.

  • Thumbs up if you clicked on this video because of the hottie instead of the cessna

  • God damn woman, you're hot!

  • Im waiting for some troll to comment saying she's flying to the kitchen.
