I had a situation when I was in High School where a kid who had recently dropped out had come in the school with a glass bottle and was wondering around, the school was put in lockdown, I think. One teacher was injured and needed stitches from a cut from the bottle, but fortunately there were no injuries other than that. Another student talked him down. Still, it could have been worse.

i live within a few hundred steps from st. pius. and only 3 years ago i was almost within seeing distance. there the 2nd school shooting in history took place, the first ever happening at brampton 5 months earlier. i have been caught in gang shootings while standing near a bus stop and a few miles away is the st. laurent mall where a massacre happened 14 days before columbine. i know what it is like to be the outcast and i went to a school that the st. pius shooter attended in grade 7 and 8.

This is the reason why CONCEALED CARRY is required in schools! Look at Utah and Texas. Guns in the hands of competent and trained faculty and law enforcement personnel can make a difference. Also, FUCK LOCKDOWNS. Repeat after me: FUCK LOCKDOWNS. Students should flee the school, just as they would leave the premises during a fire. The police already did scenario testing with guns in schools on administrators, they found that by the time they could get a gun drawn out, they were shot 5 times. You cannot react to someone who is already armed and ready. Best of luck on the idea though.

It also lets the college students carry guns, just just teachers. If one or two students stops someone earlier they could stop him at maybe 4 or 5 people than 30 people like virginia tech, he has to reload eventually.
