Ah, this was a quality show. Good, clean fun for the whole family, rather than everyone in separate rooms with their own separate televisions watching their own preferred brand of reality or soap drivel.

If they're afraid that snooker isn't as popular as it used to be and the need to get people interested again then they should start by bringing back Big Break! I went into a pub the other day (it was a real locals pub), and it was like stepping back in time to the late 80s/early 90s. This was being played on the tele, there were people playing snooker and darts, everybody getting on together and not being rowdy. It was a real close, community-like pub. It reminded me of a kid when I used to sit in the corner with dad, with me panda pop and salt and vinegar crisps.
