I feel bad for The Beatles though. Now in society people buy the merchandise without even listening to them! It's now one of those stupid trends. If you have a Beatles tee you're awesome! Even though you probably just bought one cause everyone else has one! It's pissing me off. The first time I realized this was happening was when I asked a girl wearing their shirt which was her favorite song or Beatle, she stared and said she didn't have a clue about their music other than Yellow Submarine >-<"

Try and read between the lines of Piggies, and you'll see that it's a very political song about the have and have nots of this world..ie: The proletariat and the Bourgeoisie.

i was working at a high school job in the early sixties when first I heard the Beatles. I thought wow! this is different compared to the crap they were playing at the time. I immediately rushed out to buy Meet the Beatles, and they have been kicking my ass ever since. that was 49 years ago, still feel the same!

I heard this album for the very first time when I was 10. It was my first rock album. I loved it instantly and still have the same feeling. It's so special. The Beatles catched me when I was a kid and stayed with me forever.

Me too. I saw their first TV broadcast, on Anglian TV. I rushed to my mum and said @Hey mum, there's a new Pop Group called the Beatles. They'll never get anywhere with a name like that.

Now I can't figure out why I said that. I just thought it was a funny name.
