I think it's clear that the MMORPG genre post-World of Warcraft is changed forever. No other game which uses the standard formula will have the same magic; it can not be recreated. Just watch the video and imagine what you would do in that situation and compare it to how quickly your movement would be compared to his playing that same character - which would be a significant difference.

@exileexecutus As I have already said, The game relies on pressing the number 1 key repetitively because there is no auto attack, yes he could have used his other abilities but obviously he isn't that good but you do have to click 1 and 2 alot. So... and I've seen nearly every video on youtube and yes they click 1 an awful lot so no I did not just use this video as an account.

@RainboColour i never commented on the game or its mechanics, merely the player in question. i know it relies alot on clicking your "auto attack" button, just like in swtor which imo is a good thing. As for the game and the class. I would assume that by level 28 you would have more damage spells than two which is why i said you cant take mister backpeddler as info on how the thiefs gun mechanics really works.

@Moby228 Incorrect! Guild Wars 2 is developed by ArenaNet, a developer from the states. They're simply published NCSoft, who, yes, has a legacy of bringing out excessively grinding games. But this isn't one of them. Guild Wars 2 has a steady leveling curve after level 10, and has dynamically scaling content. I highly recommend checking out their website if you like MMOs, it's going to be fantastic.

@kalin1993 Thats because the first two skills are for main hand weapon, the last two skills are off-hand, and the middle skill is both (both main and off). As you can see, skills 1 and 2 are spammable therefore all hes shooting out from is the main hand. I believe skills 4 and 5 are long cool down skills.

I love how this game allows us to dodge monsters, most mmorpgs out there sadly disregard projectile dodging and hit us from 60 feet away regardless of our range weaponry. Thanks GW2 developers for eliminating such stupidities in usual game physics.

Dynamic means, using combo's. Dodging etc etc

@Falkunov The battle style is dynamic, auto lock is a feature usable on the first skill which gives you more freedom to move and dodge incoming attacks but if you prefer not to use it then you can. It being a dynamic battle style means that you can do other things while attacking such as moving and dodging. Targeting also doesn't necessarily guarantee you a hit in this game because you can move out of their way or dodge unlike WoW for instance where an attack will follow you around corners.
