These look way better than the gaynors on you. Just because you felt like the gaynors are more comfortable doesn't mean they're the right shoe for you. They looked like they were holding you back, whereas with these you look comfortable and are dancing better. Pointe is not supposed to be comfortable and if you can't take a little pain, maybe it's not for you.

@TheDancingCharli That's an incredibly bad idea. I'd recommend going to a fitter, but if you're planning on getting shoes off ebay, there's no way you're actually taking ballet classes. Don't do this, it's very, very dangerous.

Looks like you need to be fitted especially for your first pair b/c if youre not it will seem as if ur sinking into your shoes or that shank could break, good work thought:) you have a pretty arch:)

they look very good on you, just remember to roll throw ur shoe, dont get into the habit of just colapsing, iven if ur shoe isnt broken in u should still try, u could hurt ur self if u dont, but very good! :)

Make sure you tuck in your ribbon to keep your ribbons from getting loose making tripping easier. But good job! Just don't try to do anything your instructor hasn't taught or prepared you for yet. But they look great on you and you are doing a great job!

i have been doing pointe work since 2006. i find thaat capezio aree rather noisy but good quality and value for money plus they always look good on feet whatever shape foot you have. with blochs ( i usually have serenade) they are quite which i think means that they are not as strong! they tend to last me abouut 3 weeks. and blochs make your feet look horrible and fat. and the shoes are really chunky. :) xx

Okay, first, try not to sit in your shoes as much, so try to pull up out of your hips more, and go through the feet more in eleves, and releves. Then it will look great! Your feet look good in those shoes, just try to really pull out of your shoes. Do you wear gel pads? If you do, it tends to be easier to sink into your shoes. Hope this helps!

Your feet look really good, and they look well broken in. But the ribbons look as though they've been sewn slightly too far forward, which is why you have such an obvious cross over the front of your ankles. You might wanna re-sew those- to know where to sew them, you fold down the heel of th shoe and use the edge of the fabric there as a guide for both where to sew them and the angle to sew them at.
