River was very talanted,but this is a song you don't hear about that often when you talk about Rio and Aleka's Attic.(it didn't excist until about a year later)And his vocal skills did get better later on.I think he had an amazing standard to his voice.though I really love this song,I can't figure it out why it didn't feature in the film..

Erm... cute and talented as he is and all, I just think he sounds bog standard as far as singing and song-writing goes. He seemed to regard his music with more enthusiasm than skill, as harsh as that may sound to die-hard River fans. I mean it's good he felt a deep connection with music - but that doesn't really mean he's great at it. Nobody can be amazing at everything.
