i'm not a much emotional person but i've seen this scene like 30times so far and in all of that my eyes was full of tears and i don't know why

maybe because neil is a great actor or maybe because i lost my dad 11 years ago when i was 17 ... any way this is a great show which mixes with cry and laughs

This scene just defines why Neil Patrick Harris is considered an incredible actor. He goes from anger to intense vulnerability, and then to comedy (when he hits the hoop with the back of the screw driver).

I saw this episode about two days after seeing my dad for the first time in 7 years. The raw emotion NPH put in this scene was incredibly powerful, and he did a masterful job of conveying how someone in that situation would truly feel

This was such a good episode. The show has talked about Barney and his dad for seasons now. To actually seem him affected was great! Such great acting by NPH!
