the thing is that I made that all like u did. But I bought Battlefield Bad Company 2 and that game needs SP3. So i downloaded and install SP3. From that moment I can't use my mac buttons like quieter, louder, brighter, darker etc. I don't have that mac dvd with drivers with me now so I can't instal them again. I don't have bootcamp icon down the screen. Can u help me???

@pardudes No. a new partition is created along side your OS X partition where you install Windows (or any other OS). Everything you had installed for OS X is left as it was. You can then restart in one or the other OS. It's a real easy process to put another OS on along with your Mac OS X.

But then my mac did restart and know it stands : " No boot device - insert boot disk and press any key. But my CD is inside the mac.... PLease help! ( Btw I got a Mac mini )

if you want to change your xp back to mac you will have to reset you computer

When the white screen appears press hold on options (located near the spacebar next to command) till you see the two boot drives

click on Macintosh HD or want ever you named it

You probably didn't finish creating them using the disk manager. if you have windows, open the disk management program and create the partitions using the unused space left on the HDD. If you dont , then there is probably a partitioning software for mac. Just google search "partition program for mac" and find a program you like.

never use tape on a disc, it will ruin your dvd drive. The tape will get stuck in your drive. write with a waterproof marker

did you try installign the boot camp drivers by using the cds that came with the laptop or desktop which ever you have. Use the one that says macosx on it and stick it in when you run windows and it will install all drivers. @norris95m

well that depends. If you're only using windows for certain exclusive programs (like most people) there would be way to get a virus. Now if you'd be using it to browse the internet and whatever just like on your mac, there's a chance.

sorry it'll work if it was some one else's like say for example i had a macbook and a imac and i used the install disc from the imac it wouldn't work because the disc it made for that modle but if you have a purchased leopard or snow leopard disc it has all the drivers you need for your mac :p hope this helps worked for me
