Those surroundings have to be somewhat an inspiration to play better. What an environment to play Bach in!

Mr. Stoltzman, your Mozart Quintet is by far the best among the best ( now that my son is playing clarinet I am all about clarinet music, recordings, even clarinet history- fun, fun, fun!!!)

The first thing he plays is the recitative from the Chromatic Fantasia and Fugue BWV 903.

Bach allows you to "savor aspects of the music each time you perform, and thrill to your discoveries of what's in the music already."
This is so true, and I love it about this music...one can play a piece a hundred times and it still remains a unique experience each time.
