Many of us with Lyme disease would rather have cancer. Both kill, but there is NO SUPPORT from the medical community (except for Lyme-literate doctors) or our government for Lyme disease! It's hard enough to have a disease as serious as Lyme, but enduring the lies, denial, and refusals that the "authorities" in our country send our way is more than any debilitated and seriously ill person should have to endure!
Lyme Disease has taken away half my life so far.. I already tried suicide, the overdose was caught in time to save me... so now I'm just waiting to die.
My dad is Jordan Fisher- Smith in the movie, Lyme disease drags everyone into it, family and friends. I couldn't play with him when I was a little kid because he was so sick. The disease took away his job, his health, and my childhood with him.
Most doctors stumble over the truth at least once in their career. Most of them brush themselves off and continue on as if nothing had happened. Why is this? There's no money at all in a cure. I can point right now to a piece of inexpensive technology that kills the lyme disease and cancer and AIDS and tuberculosis and the list just goes on and on and on. You can buy one of these devices for roughly the cost of 10 pizzas. Doctors are blind because of money and the need to make a lot.
The documentary is generally very good, except where it uses Lyme as a vehicle for promoting Climate Change doctrine. Also, I'm puzzled about Dr. McDonald's research being lost. Wouldn't he have kept records? Nevertheless, worthwhile viewing.
get rid of lyme with ozone, silver, vit c drips, frequencies. i had it for 20 years - it wrecked havoc on my life and my family. but i beat. without taking any drugs.
@thepowerofozone i have been doing drips of vitamin c, hydrogen peroxide, and various other vitamins and minerals for about 7 months now. how long did your treatments take to heal you and where did you get treated?
I must say that the only Drs. who ever took me seriously (and saved my life) as a patient, were going by ILADS, NOT IDSA, guidelines. If you think you are sick, write this down. Do not believe that a negative test means that you don't have Lyme.
I read a book years ago, called "Sugar Blues" by William Dufty. An absolute read. He states that during the Bubonic Plague, the rich who could afford sugars, were dropping like flies, the poor country folk who could not, faired well.
The movie has brought much needed awareness, however, why don't you post a list of petitions,a list of political representatives that we can contact. Put the links on your page; this will make it easier for those who barely have the energy to move. Please
I have scraped together 40.00 dollars to buy this documentary; we can't wait for it to arrive. I hope you are donating something to research. I'm thanking you for making the movie; because I'm certain it will raise awareness of this monster of a disease which is devasting to children, adolescents, adults, and elderly adults. Thanks and God bless.

In June of 2003 I was bitten by a tic in the ear. In May of 2004 I was diagnosed with Lyme Disease. My case was reported to the CDC. The ID specialist of Stonybrook Hospital NY prescribed 48 hrs of IV antibiotics; treatment plan to follow. Upon admitting a Neurologist I did not know said I didnt have Lyme and to me go home. My X-Husband used the reprehensible Child Protective Service of Suffolk County NY, decided my disease was delusional. August 14 2007 my children were taken without notice.

I've had Lyme for over 30 years until I took a colloidal silver enema and flopped around like a fish for 15 minutes, after that it cured.

I had exactly the same situation. I had the rash, the tick, the exact date, in 1994...and still no diagnosis!

THIS IS SO TRUE! Write it down and tell anyone who suspects Lyme may be making them ill. 80% never remember/catch the tick. Google: Lyme, 80%, Yale.

It is worth every penny to aquire this film. Make sure you show it to your family and friends, especially the skeptical ones.
It will make a differrence. You can also write letters of support for this film.
