Wow! This reminds me so much from Bambi's mother's death! Why did she have to die!? It was horrible scene, where hunter shot the mother... the scene always makes me crying.. just hearing the Bambi's yelling: ''MOTHER, WHERE ARE YOU!?'' And then the winter's silence sound like: ''Huuuuouuoouuwoohoouh''

apparently the story line for bambi was to show kids that not every parent would come back from the war =( thats why she dies =(
