I took my mp5k apart because I was bored. And I need to know how to get the little spring for the trigger back on. When I put it back together I had an extra spring. It shot but the trigger didn't spring back forward, so now I need to know how to get the spring back onto the trigger.

my fuse blew out i bought some new ones an it blew out all five of them got any tips thats wrong with my gun i mean i bought the right type of fuse but my gun wont shoot

You sure it's a V3 gearbox? They use Short type motors....

ok, i have the same exact gun my gun stoped working a while a go and i decided to take it apart first i tested the motor wen i unscrewed it to see if it works and it does.... but when the motor gets screwed back in it doesnt function... wen i pull the trigger i dont hear anything except the medal that the trigger moves wen being pulled. i now have the whole gun taken apart even the gearbox and i cant find anything that would cause a problem...... please help , thanks.

I replaced my motor with a Classic army motor from a M4 carbine, shoots like no other. I just don't know if i could upgrade the spring. Any Suggestions?

i bought just the body of a g5m (mp5k +ris+m4 crane), to fit in a dboys spare gearbox

note that you will need:

-the 2 parts thats assemble in remplacement of the motor cage (the kindof v3 to v2 motor adapter)

-the original trigger its way longer than the v3 stock dboys trigger

- the specific galaxy selector plate (that one i don't have :( )

i haven't tested yet the whole thing

Couple of things. Since I have a tendency to give my Galaxy MP5Ks to noobs as first guns. I have opened a lot of these. The newer versions are coming with REAL nice gears and bushings. Even better than the first 2 versions. The plastic components have also recently gotten even better too. They are shimming them MUCH better too! I just wish that they would stop using the green grease! Besides that this video is spot on and great as always!

That piston head doesnt look to good to me :o idk I have just have had bad luck with the cheap piston heads :/

The MP5's have long triggers because in Germany it gets COLD, so the trigger and trigger guard have to be elongated so as to fit the gloves of the people using the MP5.

Lol, No I ment the trigger was physically long due to the gearbox dezign. It has to be long like that to reach down far enough.

ok guys I need some help I have the new version of the pdw with a m4 stock and ris system. my gun recently locked up and I had to dismantle the gearbox and now I have no idea how the spring for the trigger goes back in. I tried to remember when I was taking it apart but it was stuck with a lot to tension on the spring so when I took it apart its like the whole inside exploded. I got all of it back except that damn spring for the trigger.

oh thank you so much I did and I have found out my anti reverse latch spring got destroyed when it stoped working there are tinny pieces of metal in there where the spring use to be. also I think it already needs a new bushing and shim job which I may send to airsoftgi I am not as technical savvy as I thought I was lol.

That end tooth on mine just broke off yesterday. On my way to solving that with a new piston.

Oh, I did, But I havnt done it to my Galaxy yet. I acctually did re-wire my Ver. 3 gearbox again but I am just waiting on a MOSFET system.

What part of the Big island? Do you play games anywere on the island?

Ah, Yeah I am located on Maui.

As for Deans, I myself havnt gotten to that point. I too am useing my Galaxy as a project gun so I am going to make the battery in the stock and remove most of the stock wireing. I have already removed most of the stocked wireing and I am in the prosses of re-wreing Everything.

Those tolerances in the bushings might be designed into the gearbox to allow some movement of the gears. Or it might just be sloppy engineering on the Chinese part.

Also might want to add a 9.6V by removing some of the charging handle plastic. It improves ROF even with a stock motor and standard spring.

Yeah, I only found one place in the gearbox were it was like that.

Also, I was going to include a guide for the chargeing handel mod and maybe the battery stock mod.

All in due time though. I found an easy way to get to the chargeing handel too. Maybe that video will come next with the review.

Well, is your "CYMA" gun an AK, Mp5, M14 or G18c? :D

I would if you want it to last a bit longer. Get a stocked TM gearbox shell. You can useually find them on forums.
