if the kids are smart enough they can make this knot on the same rope twice. that way they can sneek up on someone and tie his hands together. That way when the "someone" breaks free he can kill the kid and the kid won't go to hell for killing itself.

everyone cracks me up with the talk about people being able to kill themselves now that he showed them how to tie this knot. If someone wants to kill themselves this isn't going to enable them. They could have just tied a regular slip knot or used a belt or many other ways. the only thing this knots enables is for them to do it with a nice looking knot. So if everyone was waiting till they could make their death knot look nice then he sure did help a lot of people to kill themselves,

hanging was not a pretty sight back then.

because the rope didn't beak the victim's necks, they died really slowly. their tongus turned blue and their faces got bloated and i'm feeling quite sick

yes the noose did break the neck if they where hung properly with the knot to the side where it pushed the neck past its limit when the rope tightened breking the neck. however it was common that the hangman put it to the back pushing the head foward into the chest stoping it from bending any more only choking the person.

that's not a hangmans knot, the hangmans knot doesn't cinch that easy. its the same basic principals but it's a little bit different

Well, technically it is a noose, but it's certainly different from both the hangman's knot and the gallows knot. A proper hangman would most likely use the hangman's knot.
