I dont understand the points...My high score is about 40 000 and im a diplomat when in your video diplomat is like 67 000... why is that? and i see other things that in your video are in higher points but when i play i pass them earlier... why is that?

Good job on the score. Your internet sure is fast. Its a good thing that they invent such games, so people can learn something. Like where is Macedonia or Serbia or Burundi. But the actual knowledge is how much can you score the first time, without even watching the game before. :) And I know people who have over 100 thousand, but on their first try they had about 5-6 thousand max. And as you said practicing and learning is a big plus!

well for the suitcase thing memorize all the way to 14 or 13 suitbags and then you get wierd words and choose the flag that looks wierd and u nvr heard before

Believe me. I dont cheat. There are more people who can do 80k for real, like Koay Zhong Ying, Pietro Ghisoni, Sebastian Staun, Kapilan Karunananthan and myself. People practise, practise, practise... !! 80k is not impossible

There is a video now where i get 79k. This one did not corrupt, so there are no seconds missing. The title of the video is "Geo Challenge almost 80k".

The reason of the seconds missing.There was a video corruption there so two seconds of video were lost. I have to thank Apples great Quicktime video format and their great Quicktime software which let me recover from this corruption. Otherwise the video would have been lost.

After 15 cities I had 40,071 points. Kuala Lumpur was city 16 which gave me 216 points, Urumqi was city 17 which gave me 270 points, so in the video you can see me having 40,557 points after city 17.

Check if you have the latest version of Flash player installed (version 10). Also try with different browsers, Internet Explorer and Firefox. At first I found Internet Explorer faster, but lately Firefox appears to be at least as fast (in this video I use Firefox), maybe it came after installing newest Flash, dont know. Also if your PC is dated, the game runs slower.

I will explain it for the third time now. The video was corrupt at that position and I had to remove two seconds of video. That is why you see a sudden jump. I guess it has to with the fact I recorded this in high quality. The high data rate to the memory card of my digicam may have caused an artifact in the video stream.

i have 68xxx ... my firsts two games are the best for me, the seconds two well ... i have a question, what makes the difference there ?? i mean, i can do 38 in the fourth game but my score was 16xxx (more "goods" and "perfect" than "fairs" i guess?) in the third game is the same ?

For that record I did: 50 flags, 54 maps, 36 cities and 43 locations. Scores were: 18871, 20367, 19340 and 21676.

Actually when you compare that with the scores in this video, there is not that much different. I do 1 more flag, 5 more locations (because of the 5 bonus seconds at 40) and even one city less. Small improvements can make large differences at this level :-)

The game says I have played 140 times, but that does not tell the whole story. As I was getting higher and higher scores which required flawless scores in every round, I aborted the game and restarted as soon as I made a mistake. So I did many more attempts than that 140 number shows. A better reference is the date I started playing. I played my first game of GeoChallenge on November 1, 2008. I got my 72000 score the first time in the last week of december.
