As empire how do you stop an air rush fromt he Allies??? Ive tried building tengues but they get destroyed easily. Ive made base defence but they get two shotted, so i dont really know what to do other than rush to the Tier 2 GtA xv but its usually not quick enough

i think allies player is bad because shoulda done vindicator + appollo rush then that empire is helpless. like massing just airfields with 2-4 apollo and just massing vidicator attack move everywhere all over their main base early and u win.

@Myoldnamesdontwork Hardly, Chopper VX + Jet Tengu rush is so much better than apollo/vind rush. :)

vx cost wayyy to much and guess what all u need to take out is that war factory and vx stops coming...and you know tengus die fast and they shoot pee to enemy armor so not cost efficient. if you can micro really well vindicator with the aero upgrade can cost serious problem to japs. russia got flaks to shoot them down. jap helpless if they get vind and apo. cus vind can take out one infantry every bomb and rax only cost 500. move ur mcv (to tank damg) down along with rax near enemy.

@Myoldnamesdontwork I can get Around 7 Tengus and 5 vx's With 15k resource starting, That can take out a war factory/mecha bay whatever. Along with a Con yard with sufficient Micro, Tengus engage Infantry or jets, VXs take out whatever is needed AA vehicles, Power Plants (to take out AA Turrets taking them on head on doesn’t work) VXs with rocket pod upgrade are buildings worst nightmare :P Apollo/vind or Vind/Cryo are good but overused I like empire rushes.

ah ha! you must be thinking math only...strategist must think time efficient too! usa rush involve air filed first b4 second refinery. so b4 ur vx is out (2nd upgrade on warfactory) u will get harassed bad with their vindicator. plus ur talking about vx 2nd tier unit and jap's one and only aa that can't fire and walk at the same time. ex bullfrog can move and fire ur vx jet. allies jets are way too fast for vx to catch. cryo (2nd tier like vx) can soak up shit load of vx rocket.

vx is not even qualified for 2nd tier cost too much and die fast and doesn't even do shit load of damage even at the cost of rocket pod promotion. while you are waiting for 15k resource allies only need what i can't remember the exact amount but 1 vindi is 1100 less than vx and tier 1 too! apollo is also 1000 tier 1 as well! 1 tengu can't kill vindi completely. 2 tengu might have a chance but not likely. 1 apollo take out 2 ten with confusion of vindicator and u are fucked and helpless!

so why can't soviet rush empire like allies? twin+mig efficient against jap infantry with tengus. CUS unlike allies russia air units only available AFTER tier 2 meaning u need to build that annoying giat nuclear reactor takes long and money out of u fast! allies u build ur airfield RIGHT AFTER ur first refinery wtf!

you even rush with 7 tengu and 5 vx to a brutal army? u wont even get a chance to build 3 tengu not to mention getting ur vx. same for pro players they will never let you tech to tier 2 especially when they found out ur jap. they will mass air. ur best bet is infantry. JUST TRY IT! build 2 rax and rush near enemy base they can't do anything even if they know ur rax is near their base cus ur MCV can roll over anything! u dont need ur mcv around like allies. so i COMPLETELY agree with fox's rush.

Looks pretty good to me but the mcv rusher really should have built a docks core before leaving. It would have taken 5 second to get the core out, a little more to deploy in the corner of the ocean so his vindicaters would take awhile to find it, and he would be able to make another mcv if he loses his, whereas now if he loses his mcv he's left with a barracks or two and no source of income.
