ahh the days when people didn't put themselves on youtube singing hoping to get famous. even 10 yrs ago was better. damn you beiber for ruining music and insulting lesbians
I remember in the early 70s my mother driving me to little leaugue football practice in her Vista Cruiser. I'd turn the radio on and a lot of times this song was playing. Sweet memories. Damn I wish I could go back in time.
you know what cracks me up about todays music...... the singer acts as if they are the "it". and forget that the music is being performed for them... Jesus ... where do we get so stupid as the days go by, instead of smarter.. here is a performance. the whole band.....live and no filters... thumbs up if you agree
This is the first time that I actually get to see what this band looks like.Initial impression is that it's like the precursor to the Black Crowes.I like that band, I love THIS song, and now I need to check out what else Stories did on record.
This is great stuff!!! The Midnight Special was a classic that could not be matched today. The music that is popular today just doesn't have the same edge or substance that was made in the 70's. Even though disco was also popular in this period, there was nothing to compare to good old rock and roll.
@gwendolynko fuckin GREAT vocals by by Ian Lloyd....they don't make like that anymore...and Yes nobody this ugly could every make it nowday's ....haa.
@sczesny46056 I REMEMBER SEEING THIS ALSO. I STAID UP LATE TO SEE I WAS 10 YEARS OLD.. DAM AM I OLD .. FUCK YEAH!!!! DAM SHOULD WE TELL PEOPLE WE SAW THIS PERFORMED,,HA HA
@sczesny46056 I remember watching this also when it first aired on the midnight special. I'm old also, but one thing for you to remember, with age comes wisdom, and this is what we both have WISDOM!
i know the song, but ive only seen the video now. this was covered by bon jovi in their so called 'MTV Unplugged' episode many years ago. nice one valhalla70s
I was eight years old when this song came out. It's still one of my all-time favorites.
Ian Lloyd sings the wrong line at 2:37. It's supposed to be, "Man, he had a terrible fight." Nice recovery, though. No lip-synching here.
