The Bible was rewritten by men ? The Bible was written in the first place by men. If there is a God & he created the universe & is a million times smarter than man. The translation from greek to english might not be perfect ...but if you look at the translation in all languages it's probbaly not perfect .... the point is the mistake comes from the people who translate it..not for God.
Take some time to read up on the basics of textual criticism before you make weak arguments. These are literally the SIMPLEST textual variances to deal with. The beginning was especially funny, about the english translations...SO?? LOL reminds me of the mormon "argument". The english bibles are just translations. You need to go to the Hebrew and Greek manuscripts, and apply some BASIC lower textual criticism, i.e. homoeoteleuton and parablepsis.

@ras464 only God judges people on the day of judgment, we don't know who will go to heaven or who will go to hell, but we know for sure that satan (the devil) will go to hell, but God requires people to look for his true religion, and sense Christianity was changed by men, that leaves you with Islam it is still to this day pure and never changed.

The bible itself mentions the trinity (well father son and holy spirit, trinity itself is just later word to refer to the concept) and also Jesus divinity. The writings of church fathers for over 2 hundred years before the council of nicea mention the same.
There is even one text the didache dated from 50-60 ad which talks about the trinity and Jesus being the son of god.

Take some time to read up on the basics of textual criticism before you make weak arguments. These are literally the SIMPLEST textual variances to deal with. The beginning was especially funny, about the english translations...SO?? LOL reminds me of the mormon "argument". The english bibles are just translations. You need to go to the Hebrew and Greek manuscripts, and apply some BASIC lower textual criticism, i.e. homoeoteleuton and parablepsis.

Well it goes like this: Anyone who wants to be his diciple must deny himself. He must not love his own life and possesions here on earth because they are all temporary compare to what's in heaven.
Anyway, you must seek Jesus first. He should be your first priority. The very first commandment. Now when you seek Jesus first evrything will follow. You will learn Jesus' perspective. You will learn to love. Your faith to Jesus will grow.

Funny how we BELIEVE ourselves to be this "soul" seeking God. Who is seeking? We BELIEVE and attatch to an IDEA of permanent self that is changing over TIME. The Divine is right in front of our eyes. When thought intervines, reality is fragmented into a million shards called "things". What are you prior to knowledge? We cover up the Divine and the mystery of life with labels and are hypnotised by our own judgements and comparisons coming from an unstable image of self.

Why do you need a religion? No matter what name you give the force that created existence and all we know, what matters is the point of the teachings. Love and freedom and the gift of experience... its not our differences that matter but the ability to respect and tolerate minor differences and notice the similarities. If MLK had never existed, wouldnt the stories of him be enough to inspire tolerant behavior

With all due respect, I think it's not up to you, or me or anybody to say who will go down or up. We don't know if Bush will go to Hell, or Bin Laden or Hitler. They may actually end up in Heaven while you or me will be looking from the other side of the fence (God forbid). actually, thousands and thousands of muslims are converting to christianity every week, even in places where it is forbidden. They are often martyrd for their faith, outcast from families. Its a tough decision to make, but a mighty one, a whole-hearted commitment made with their lives. Look it up here, on youtube. You'll find it.

man i know what ur trying to say. see the think is we muslims can take mistakes out of the bible and all of us will believe in them to. similarly chirstians do the same take mistakes out of quran. even if when proof them wrong still all chirstians will think that muslims are still wrong. so we have to be open minded and read the quran and the bible and see what makes more sences. thats waht i do. so i advise u to do the same.
