i actually like this generation of the civic hybrid but its still expensive, what if you added a turbo to the hybrid what will happen curious about doing this it should improve the response of car
I drive 2007 camry hybrid. It takes only 8.0 seconds to reach 60 mph compared to 11.0 secs on 2007 civic hybrid. I have 101 cubic feet of passenger volume compared to 91 cubic feet on civic hybrid. Last of all, civic hybrid alloy wheels cover too much, you can't see the brake discs at all.
@pickassoo If I had a hummer I'd roll over tin cans like this and old grannies and small children and some of my teachers. I'd put a huge grill on it too.
hmmm if she can't look at the speedometer and then look down to see the battery gauge and keep eyes on road i wonder if she could chew gum and walk. please let me know when this girl is driving, i will get off the road, she might be dangerous
You said it's a babe magnet 5 months ago were you serious? Because I want to buy one for the good gas mileage but if I can pick up chicks thats a bonus!
did you end up buying the car? How much was the final price, including taxes and fees? I'm looking at an 07 Civic Hybrid (navi model) w/21K miles and they're asking for $16995.
i did end up buying the car , the final price was 11 something out the door . I sold the civic 4 weeks later , the gas mileage was great but my main battery went dead and i was pissed so i took it back , sold it back . I now am driving a 1973 AMC Javelin . I cant stand this new tech in cars , just not a normal car
why would it be distracting to have to look at the battery guage and then have to look at the speedometer?
the hybrids use regenerative braking, which charges the battery while you drive the car... you should not have to worry about the charge level. if someone has another explanation pls let me know... i will be buying mine friday (5) days from now...
I own the Civic coupe LX at it is a very nice car. 10,000 miles and zero problems so far. Good quality, mileage, and surprisingly roomy at a very good price.
that car is gonna last forever. Most anything from toyota or honda can last over 150,000 miles with no problems as long as you switch out oil, timing belt, etc.

why would you get a hybrid when you could just get a TDI Jetta that gets 50mpg?
justyman 3 years ago
lmao.. diesel.
dackjaniels555 3 years ago
Because the hybrid is rated as AT-PZEV and Tier-2/Bin 2?
And the Jetta TDI is?
(oops) Well, too dirty to be on sale in many states.
hypermiling 3 years ago
You would pay the $1.00 difference per gallon at the pump.
chupiperea 3 years ago
Because if you get a jetta TDI. Justyman, you will have to pay 86.00 extra when you change the oil after 36k miles!
badcad16 3 years ago
Because a) no one gets 50mpg with a Jetta TDI.
b) you need to plug it in in the winter.
c) it is louder than avg vs quiter than avg.
d) its not legal in every state
e) Jettas are incredibly unrelaible.
f) Did I mention that it is a diesel?

I'm looking for a car, and can't choose between a new Honda Civic, or a new Subaru Impreza.
I believe the features of the Civic outnumber those of the Impreza, but still want the AWD Felxibility.
Does anyone own any of these cars, and could you tell me of any problems you may have had.
Thanks
ZZZushi 3 years ago
What kind of Impreza are we talking about. Base model, WRX, or WRX STi?
Nadrealis 3 years ago
I'm thinking of the RX Model.
Over here in Australia, the RX and Civic VT-i are about the same price.
I'm leaning towards the Impreza.
ZZZushi 3 years ago
Nice Video. I'm considering one of these cars.

We've had one for almost 20 years. The Japanese in general make some pretty darn good cars for the price. I am considering a Civic Si.
