it would help if you knew enough about synthesizers in general. read up on them first.

You have to be patient with yourself on this. I can only do about 2 hour increments at a time. Starts to hurt your head. But if you do a little, take a break, do some more, repeat, you'll get some results. I didn't know jack about this when I bought it, only that I wanted to experiment. I LOVE this thing now. I records vocals, guitar and bass with it on my recorder, and it sounds great!

how do u set sounds on a pattern?

well, what you do is you go to the patterns and pick one. once you've done that, modify the drums and synths to your chooseing. then simply select a blank patter and modify it to your likeing and so on.

you can have more pattern spaces left if you just use the patterns with the drums and mute the drums in the beginning and unmute them when they come in.
