You can't be thinking what branch is better than the other. Each branch has it's own mission. In most cases, the Army is a Sustainment Force. The provision of personnel, logistic, and other support required to maintain and prolong operations or combat until successful accomplishment or revision of the mission or of the national objective. The Marines are simple. Get in Kick their asses, and get out. The Air Force and Navy are supporting factions within our military to support boots on the ground

that's not why they paid no attention to it. what happened is they saw the planes coming in on radar, but there was going to be a flight of bombers coming to Hawaii that day from the mainland so they thought it was just them. Plus the radar was new so they didn't have good communication with it even if the radar ops wanted to call it in.

Fair question (and if you want to learn something instead of trading insults, excellent, you can learn something) Hiroshima *was* the Japanese Army Group Headquarters for Kyushu. The 8/6/45 bomb killed 30,000 Japanese soldiers, in addition to a whole lot of civilians.
