i think ur head is pointing up too much...ur neck and back should form a straight line as you go up and down....does ur neck ever get sore from deadlifts?
Do u feel most of the strain on your lower bacK? or mostly in your glutes/hams? When I do it, I feel it mostly in the lower back and I'm wondering if I'm performing it incorrectly.

Most of the strain is in my legs. When I reach my last set though, I can feel my back too.
