  • ha, good music choice!

  • Yes definitely electric. I never had glow powered models. I am also planning to put a benedini TBS module to it. At the moment I am fine tuning my home built CNC router so that I will be cutting the parts with it.

  • @conradvass

i know the benedinis sound nice (as long as the plane is near...) but in my opinion it would be more suitable to spend the extra money on your power system. unfortunately my video had no sound recorded, but i can assure you that the hurricane makes quite some noise! check out my p-51 electric video (not my plane, but you get an idea of the sound of a powerful electric system).

anyway the sound is generated by the prop, so chose carefully.

  • Hi nice model and flying. Did you build the model? If yes from which plans? I am building the 70" from Brian Taylor.

  • @conradvass

hi there! i did build the model, but it was a ARF kit made by KMP/ESM/CMpro, whatever...

but after i flew this plane with a 20ccm glow engine i made some major changes to the model. the BT version seems to have the same size.

do you plan to use an electric drive?

  • @AskaLooN BTW which Turnigy SK 50-65 ? (270kv, 320kv or 400kv)?

  • @conradvass

i use the 380KV version...maybe now they changed the specs to 400KV, seems possible though...
