i'm glad i saw this video, i will gather my guns, food and survival gear and i will dehydrate it and then put it inside the 35 mm container. when needed i will retrieve and add water. i will be good to go!
Hey HeadHardHat. I enjoy watching your videos. I have a question. What is the best GPS for $150 and under? Also, How did you find out about Geocaching?
Rather than a skirt hide, it there is a rush ten or twenty feet away, hang the cache in the bush. The lookers will got the lamp post skirt first, Why make it easy for them LOL
@MagicJohn11 Sorry for the late response, I have been rather busy with filming GeoSnippits. That definately would drive some geocachers nutz. Just don't make it a 1.5 and more like a 2 so you don't slow down the people going for numbers.
I just hid a geocache im hoping it goes well its a 35mm with a toy mouse glued to it, the container is hidden under the toy mouse and when you first see it you just see a mouse unless you look close (the mouse is made of rubber so it shouldn't be afected by the rain)
@Detoxicsify If you mean geocaches that are underwater and you need scuba to get them.. Absolutely.. I know of a few here in NC and I know there are others all around the world.
Well Mr. Hardhat I have to say you impressed me. I would say I fall under the catagory of medium level geocacher. I thought I knew everything about it. WRONG!!!! Textured Paint!?!?! Who would have guessed using that? Thank you so much for making this video =)
Thank you mental135 I appreciate it. If you like the idea of textured paint on plastic. You should see it on ammo boxes... Will be coming soon... -HHH
I bet that would look awesome! Can' t wait for that video! I have been talking with some friends and they think I should make a geoclub at our school. I want to and I plan to show your videos =).
I think I've seen your name in some logs in the area. Nice tips about the 35mm hide. I have access to a local photography shop and have about 500 of them. Might see you at an event.
I have found drug stores are also a great place for picking them up as well.. 500 wow that is a gold mine. Look forward to meeting you one day as well...
Hope you enjoy my blog too. Thans for the very kind words and if you have any suggestions let me know. The majority of our episodes comes from ideas our viewers send in! - HHH
Thanks so much for the time and effort you're putting into these! Love them - now off to check out your blog. - TellMeIfYouSeeAChicken from the S.F. Bay Area.
Absolutely excellent idea. In fact I am going to add an annotation to the movie suggesting that.. Thanks and it should be up before 1:00pm EST today.. Great suggestion.

Now would a 35mm be considered "small" or 'micro" if I was logging my hide?
LeeHarveyOswaldStyle 2 years ago 2
Basically consider any geocache that can only hold a log book to be a micro. 35mm containers fall under the micro size. Thanks for asking. -HHH

They can be really creative hides if enough fore thought is put into them. Great hearing from you.

Why don't you put a strong magnet at the bottom of the containers to prevent them from being blown around by the spray.
