Well, I will make a prediction. The money will hit the family eyes. The wife will ant more and more. Soon we then have a Baby Doc in Jamaica. Baps, Jamaica becomes worse than Haiti. Never trust the young in politics unless it is divinely ordained.
The current crop of "young leaders" are crap. Life experience counts for a lot and you can hear the difference between them and the older generation who understand the nature of things a lot better, how they link into different areas of life and how you go about solving the issues in a future-proof way.
Barack Obama isn't doing well, David Cameron has been pretty disappointing so far.
Traditionally, except for a brief period in the 1970s , the Jamaican governments, specifically the executive of such governments, and their various prime ministers have pursued the interest of the elite, wealthy class, not the interest of the majority which are the poor and middle classes. The consequences of this are the entrenched status quo, crime, disenfranchisement, a segregated and diluted education system, ever increasing inequality, and the dependency of foreign capital.
