i wouldnt advice surfing in namibia. as already said half of the coast line is guarded by armed guards running diamond mines. the water is very cold making it hard to surf for more than a few hours even in a steamer and boots, gloves hood etc. the place is full of seals, which also brings a lot of sharks. also sometimes the seals can make the wave unrideable becuase there are 100s of them
