I wonder why Disney wouldn't show their Bobby Driscoll-like animated Peter Pan in the commercials and on the label? (Bobby Driscoll was also the voice of Peter in the film)
Derby Foods was one of the regular sponsors of "DISNEYLAND", and Disney usually accomodated his sponsors by having his characters deliver "plugs" for their products- here, "Tink" is pushing Peter Pan Peanut Butter during the 1954-'55 season, with the help of narrator Sterling Holloway and "guest voice" Paul Frees {who later assumed the role of "Professor Ludwig Von Drake" on the Sunday night NBC series during the '60s}.
I'd rather have Jif but it costs more than Peter pan, so that's what my father buys instead. I guess I'll just have to buy myself some Jif.

lol, I don't know WHY modern haters of the new Fairie's franchise are only NOW calling it a sellout...
Not that I'm hating on Tink OR Peter Pan Peanut Butter.
Because these ads never fail to get me to make a Peanut butter sandwhich.
