  • wow that was....cool..

  • lol i preorderd sonic generation man can't wait til it comes out lol nice run on sonic uneashed sonic with dbz music ftw lol

it would be pretty epic if sonic appeared in a dbz game lol

  • *Video starts..Krazybean starts QSSing....oh shit..this is serious lol

Good stuff man...i getting Generations the FIRST day it comes out..but after i beat it..imma definitely watch your playthrough of it...you do good commentary...

  • @sonicslayton I do?? I'm glad you like it...I'm always a bit embarrassed when I hear myself speak when doing commentary for something, lol!

I'm glad you're looking forward to my Playthrough =)

  • 1:47 EPIC WATER DRIFTING.

  • @ChaosChao83 You know it! ;)

  • This level is not in Sonic Generations, Rooftop Run is in the game.

  • @OfficialSGProject It says 'PRACTICE FOR SONIC GENERATIONS'. The reason why I'm doing these speedruns is because I'm practicing to get more experience when Sonic Generations comes out, this means that I'm just speedrunning the main stages in Sonic Unleashed, not just the ones which will appear in Sonic Generations.

  • @KrazyBean14 Oh, now i have understand.. excuse me, i'm sorry.

  • @OfficialSGProject he's practising modern it really don't matter about the stage and maybe it will be a dlc. :I

  • No matter what others say, I will always see Sonic Unleashed as better than Generations. Sonic Unleashed had great combat with the Werehog, a TON of collectibles like the records, video tapes and you could buy things to view and listen to cutscenes, in-game music, etc. You had a ton of side missions and levels, a decent story and unbelievable variety in the whole game. Seeing as Generations is 2-D with 3-D, it'll be all speed and platforming. Nothing new. Unleashed will always be the best.

  • @vgman94

    SOME SPOILERS:

    1) I wish people can agree with what you said about the Werehog...I do! =)

    2) There will be a lot of collectibles in Generations

    3) Generations will have 90+ missions

    4) We don't know anything about Generations's story, I'll have to wait before I can agree with you on that

    5) Generations also has variety (Classic and Modern gameplay) with way more impressive looking levels compared to Unleashed

    5) Aren't the Daytime stages all about speed & platforming & 2-D and 3-D?

  • @vgman94 Nonetheless, Unleashed is an amazing Sonic game ESPECIALLY when this was made after the catastrophe that was Sonic 06, this game was a massive jump in quality for Sonic...I just wish that it got much less hate than it does now. =(

  • I know. This and Black Knight especially got way too much hate. I am very disappointed in reviewers and the Sonic "fan"base that pretends to be fans of Sonic. The levels in Generations look amazing, but the gameplay itself is a bit narrow-minded if I can say so. It looks too speed and platform oriented in both types of gameplay in contrast to Unleashed's more distinct & separate gameplay forms. I would like to see the collectibles and missions. Yeah, we'll have to wait to truly judge the story.

  • Sonic Generations will be an awesome game but I don't think it will match Sonic Unleashed in speedrunning, they fixed stomp and qss so it seems it'll be like sonic colours where it's all about the route and not the technique :( You should check out KAKIPI1000's channel if you need inspiration to speedrun Sonic Unleashed though, that guy's a monster

  • @craigolette I kind of see that as a good thing...this way, EVERYONE can have a chance (not everyone knows how to perform the QSS and the Speed-Up Drift) but I'm a tad sad that I can't use my skills in Sonic Generations =(

Also, yes I've seen KAKIPI1000's speedruns...he's a monster alright, but I prefer to do speedruns without completely breaking the game, unless it was unintentional.

  • @KrazyBean14 yeah i agree it can be a good thing that you no longer need to use pretty complicated (if you've never done them) techniques to be able to speedrun, but it just looked so cool in action being able to hop/stomp at almost twice normal running speed and stuff

and i also agree to some extent that some of the glitches found in this game are a bit over the top (like rooftop run act 1, oh boy haha)

anyway, nice videos and i subscribed - what do you record your gameplay with? :)

  • @craigolette Thanks for the sub! Also I use a Hauppague HD-PVR...it's pretty expensive but it's the best recording device out there. =)

  • Why did they have to add too many starting stages and city stages in sonic generations? I know they are the usually fan fav. but it doesn't hurt to vary them abit. The ice zone from sonic 3 should have been there. -_-

  • @nintendolife25 Very true...but the City stages do have a lot of diversity from each other AND each stage has a throwback section to another stage (example...Seaside Hill has a Hydrocity section and Rooftop Run has a Flying Battery). Nonetheless, Here's hoping to getting extra Zones via DLC! =)

  • @KrazyBean14 Casino night have been confirmed. So my hope of something else is over....not that I'm complaining since the game looks good.

  • @nintendolife25 Sorry to burst your bubble but...the Casino Night DLC is just a Pinball minigame for the HD versions, not a Zone. Casino Night Zone is exclusive to the 3DS version.

  • @KrazyBean14 Oh so...there's still hope. :)

  • lol @ "Eggman land is out of the question" haha good run anyhow... let me see you pull off Shamar act 1, that's a great stage :)

  • @JamztheHedgehog Yep...I just finished recording it! It'll be uploaded soon ;)
