  • Nice :] I enjoyed it ^.^

  • your tempo is a bit uneven.

  • This song is beautiful. Reminds me a bit of one of Chopin's waltzes, because of the constant back and forth with the left hand.

I was wondering if someone could help me choose a piece by Kabalevsky to transcribe for a string ensemble. It's a final test for my first course of orchestration. No longer than two minutes and thirty seconds please.

  • I'm very impressed!!! It's very complicated!

  • Wow man, so much better then how I'm trying to play this piece right now. My trouble is that agitato part. You nail it. Bravo!

  • my god this is impossible

  • I was just assigned this song, and I have to learn it in 7 weeks, polished, for an adjudicator. Its gonna be a job thats for sure.

  • Thanks to everybody :)

  • Very nice. This is not an immediately accessible song, but you manage to play it in a way that makes people stop and at least give it a chance. Bravo.

  • You've managed to reconciliate me with Kabalevsky, thanks!

  • The rhythm ought to be observed more accurately. For example, the beginning 2 notes of the right hand are triplets, not sixteenth notes...

  • I must confess that I don't really like Kabalevsky music but this Prelude is lovely. Well played, however, watch out the position of your hands on the keyboard, you could have a better sound.

  • thank you

  • Who says so? His name is spelled Дмитрий in Russian so it's more proper to spell it like Dmitry

  • It's a pretty bad song, but you played o.k.

  • That's interesting that you say that, Nitz. I was just thinking, "Wow, this piece is intriguing. I like this a lot!" Then again, I've always REALLY loved Russian pieces... Rachmaninoff, Tchaikovsky, Kabalevsky - the dark, deep melodies are amazing.

  • this is not a song, brrrrffff.... and it`s to good for be true

  • When i opened this video I thought it was going to be another original composition and I was astounded till I realized you're not Kabalevesky...

  • Wow, that was so broody and primal, I listened to it three times XD

    sigh, why couldn't i be born to rich parents who'd give me piano lessons or born to some natural prodigal talent? ;_;

  • There's always a way. Don't let brick walls keep you from doing what you want!

It's never too late to start learning to play.

  • YOu could try to listen Kabalevsky's 1 st prelude on my account or Lyadov's prelude

  • I love this! Can you suggest me some other good stuff to listen to? I really liked this and am not sure what else to look for that is kind of similar to this.

  • Very, very nice.

  • A very nice composition, and the video is nice too, with the sunshine on the keyboard and everything...., i like it very much
