Hi, very good! I also got a Marshall AVT series, the AVT100. So it´s possible to add another speaker to it? Congratulations for the sound and playing. Regards
Very nice connection of two beauty things: Strat & Marshall Amp ! You may say, what you want, but I think this sound is very nice and performing sure also :) I definetelly prefer Fender Strat, Tele (even Squire), than Gibson - but it's sure only my own choice :) I gave You 4 stars (I'll give You 4,5 but I can only 'full points' :)).
Hey. Tell me something. I have the texas specials. Sound very SRV, but at higher gain/rock, there is soo much hum. I was wondering, how noiseless thos picukps were at high volumes, when not playing, and also just touching the strings....
by your philosophy that means you would have to use a flying V for metallica, SG for ACDC, les paul for Zeppelin and GNR, Telecaster for the stones, and Strat for Hendrix. that adds up to about 6000 dollars, and..not everyone has that kind of money. He does just fine with his strat
you can get different sounds from different guitars, i can get my Epi Les Paul to sound almost exactly like this song(obviously not an sg). Ya, the single coils sound a little strange, but to get the actual sound out of it it would have to have a single coil sound.
i think it sounds fine, in fact i think it sounds great since ACDC have a slightly twangy sound anyway, in fact by blackcheeserecords standards, to get metallcas sound, you would have to have a '74 flying V, a RR1 rhodes with EMGs, a Gibson Explorer, an ESP explorer, a KH-20, a strat, a tele, a Les Paul custom, and an ESP trucketer, wiht a Marshall JCM, a mesa Boogie, and a new Randall KH-120. yea fucking right dude, and a Tube screamer and a pro co rat, dont forget a sharpie to write EEt Fuck
Im just wondering what it will sound like in the bigger amp, probably add a bit more bass to the noise.
I have a fender strat (standard series) mexican strat, i hate the hiss and hum that you can get playing live with the original single coil pickups im going to buy these pickups "Fender Vintage Noiseless" because they have less hiss and they have the same sound as a strat, with a "Mesa/boogie express"
You should have probably played the rhythm bits with the front pickups and for the lead use the back pickups. cause.. front pickups give a bassier sound used for loud distortion, the back pickup is usually used for lead.
yea sg dirty is quite a beast... but still, if u monkey around with some settings and pedals, u can make a strat sound very tough too - very easily done
I have an AVT 50 heah and 2 4x12 cabs. I also have a Zoom GFX8 pedalboard. The head by itself doesnt sound that great to me because i use a lot of distortion, but when the pedalboard is used, it sounds great. I have a buddy that is strictly a blues player and he can plug right into the amp and it soungs excellent
dont get the combo (AVT50) and the head confused (AVT50H). In this video, i'm using the combo (AVT50). I used to have the amp head and i thought is sucked. Didn'y even sound like the combo amp. I put a vintage 30 speaker in the combo as well so, now it sound pretty good. The other amp behind me is a marshall DSL50H which is a tube amp and a 4 x 12 half stack. I sold the AVT50H and got the tube head. Now thats a killer amp. Later!
not bad not bad the only thing is it's a pretty easy song cuz ive been playing for a year no lessons and i know the whole song except the solo but nice dude NICE!
damn that marshall sounds great also good playing

very good but you should pick a sg for this song
blackcheeserecords 3 years ago
Just because Angus use's and SG doesnt mean other people have to use one to be just as good.

Maybe this guy can only afford one guitar, and if so then he's made a great choice.
