Here`s something we don`t see too often..thnx for the upload...
The dialog is priceless!!..You ALL suddenly became experts on the subject, yet were continually asking for each-others reassurace!...lololol..Don`t be mad,it was very humorous...Your laughter at the situation is common. It was an awesome, terrifying & real life/death situation...common response.
Incredible shots, thanks for posting! Must be unreal to witness a rare sight like this! LMOA @ 4:57 "I totally got that!".... the orca probably said exactly the same at that point to the rest of his pod :P
I sorta bought on your "I just laughed because I could witness those incredible images" bullsh*** until I noticed your "click here to see the best part" captions.
There's a video here where they torture a cat: did you laugh at that too?
That dolphin possibly came to swim close to your boat hoping to get some help. Didn't know he would fall on a bunch of sadistic tourists...
"Smarter than humans" many believe, however, we don't play and torture our own before killing and not always eating our food. Dolphins are responsible for the infanticide of porpoise, basically, small dolphin. Humans are the top predators. We've tortured and sometimes hurt our own, but hopefully, we have learned...
THEY ARE TEACHING THEIR YOUNG HUNTING TECHNIQUES. IF THEY WERE HUNGRY, THE PREY WOULD HAVE BEEN KILLED QUICKLY THEN EATEN AND YOU WOULD NOT HAVE GOT ALL OF THIS GREAT FOOTAGE.
I am not trying to be mean but u really need to stop the zooming in and out thing cause u could have gotten some good shots buy in had the camera in the water.
How far offshore were you guys?? And I agree.... it is simply nature taking its course, and spectacular footage of it!! People tend to forget that these animals have been doing the same thing for centuries..... long before people even existed, let alone have something to say about it!! You are a lucky SOB to see that kind of behavior in real life!!
I agree with manolodorecho on this, i'd be laughing too because of such a rare opportunity to see this. Orcas are wolves of the sea, so to see something like that and to catch it on video is quite amazing. Sure there's other videos out there of that 32 year old female orca who's nicknamed "shark killer", but still, thats quite amazing to catch that live. Very nice video indeed. It sucks when nature takes it course that way, but that's the way life is. Gotta eat somehow, right?
Para todas las criaturas marinas tienen estrategias, emisten a los grandes blancos a sus branquias, salen de las playas por las focas y leones marinos, cazan ballenas azules y hasta delfines...
I was laughing, as was everyone else, because I could not believe was I was seeing. Being able to see orcas jump clean out of the water like that chasing prey is incredibly rare. We won't see something like that ever again. We all wanted the dolphins to escape. But that's how it is in nature. We were not laughing at the dolphins being killed.
I was also laughing because I was able to record these images. What are the chances? First I see something amazing and then I'm lucky enough to be pointing the camera in the right direction. Once the orcas were under the water they kept changing directions so there was no way to know where they would surface. I just guessed and was incredibly lucky. I bought a lotto ticket when I got back home but that didn't work so well
Son demasiado estupidas para dar caza decentemente a los delfines. Lo único que se me ocurre por que el delfín sigue ahí sin uir es que se aburre y le apetece tomar el pelo a las orcas xDD.
Transient killer whales will kill just about anything to feed I like resident killer whales this guys are way more agressive and live in smaller pods.
gringo culiao, eres tan idiota que debes haber pensado que los delfines y las orcas estaban jugando, IDIOT, FUCK YOU GRINGO

It would've been real funny had the killer whale jumped in the boat. All that laughing would've ceased.

Wow! That's amazing, and very sad at the same time, those poor dolphins. :(
OrkidFan101 3 years ago
That is just the circle of life. Yeah, poor Dolphins, but the Orcas need to eat, too. It isn't like they're killing just for the sake of killing.
However, Orcas have been known to hunt sharks for sport rather than food. Great Whites in particular.
