@ILUVMagic1000 i dont use litter, i clean my cage to much for that , i use paper towel - 1-or 2 sheets depending on thickness ... never have more than 3-4 piles of crap in the litter box

wow if I let no more than 3poops in my lots litter tray I would spend all day cleaning the trays.. The litter trays get cleaned out dailey and they are litter trained. Mind you I use big cat litter trays as the corner ones are too small.

Ferrets naturally stink

@CJBountyHunter every animal has there own odour and animal smell can be reduced by keeping them clean.. Neutering and spaying also reduces the smell.

u need to get anouther ferret for him to play with u cant ceep them speerated they get depressed and then they get sick. u dont have to change them all the time just wash them in the washing mashine there are very sochial animails. and u need to put a bed on the bottom for her so she doesnt have to climb up the ramp to go to bed all the time.

Just wanted to add to RESEARCH the diseases that ferrets get as they age. Way too many people buy them on a whim and once the ferret gets sick either do nothing (and the ferret dies) or dump the ferret at a shelter because they don't want to take care of it (and often FAR too into the disease to be saved). Ferrets are prone to Adrenal Disease, Insulinoma, Lymphoma and Cardiomyopathy and even having more than one of these. Ferret vets are few and far between and treating them EXPENSIVE.

KUDOS to your first comment about why ferrets smell - because YOU aren't doing your job. But why are you putting paper towels in the litter instead of litter? I use wood stove pellets and they work amazingly well. And LOL at your use of "piles of crap" LOL As I say "How pretty would your bathroom smell if you never flushed the toilet?"
