roc, you should just give up on those darn harcuts. Your hair is beautiful, & thick, & a lovely color. OOOH, I got an idea.
DREADLOCKS! the braided tress look NEVER goes out of style.
I kinda like bugs, I photograph them often :) AND, hubby got me over my fear of heights by putting a tree stand in our yard. I climbed up into it every day, till I got so comfortable I could sit up there and read and stuff. The neighbors did wonder why we had a tree stand in the yard though. It was really high.
Ha ha ha! Dreadlocks! Yikes! Can't you just see them swinging around my face???
I agree - it is important to try to get over your fears! Little steps at a time. A tree stand is a good idea... I can just see how peaceful it would be to climb it and sit... -roc
I am with you on the spider thing. I really have a bad case of arachnophobia. I have just in recent years gotten to where I can actually kill them without screaming my head off. It is really rediculous!

One time I was in Reno Nevada and we were given a room on the 20 floor I would not sleep by the window I slept against the wall...lol In the morning the person I was with opened the drapes wide open to let the sun in and the darn room had the floor to cieling windows I thought I was gonna pass out...lol

BTW..I love your sign-off "That's it, that's all!"
You have a point about the last cut. The day it was done, it was frightful. A couple of days later, it wasn't so bad. I just had a cut today - it's short, but not terrible.
I'm scared to death of heights, rodents, snakes, creepy crawlies, driving on interstates, and I get more fearful as I get older, especially about health issues. Sigh. Hugs Roc!!

I always say hello to the little old ladies, even if I'm in a rush. It only takes a second to make eye contact, smile and say hello. I kid you not, last Friday in Safeway I ended up having a 30 minute long conversation with one about knitting. I know, not that shocking but she said "I didn't know young people liked knitting so much" She called me young! YAY I LOVE HER :D
oh and that Capilano Suspension bridge is a freaky thing for me. I love it but as a kid I had a reoccurring dream and that bridge was in it and I'd never seen it before. How could I, I grew up in Illinois, far from that bridge. So imagine my shock and surprise when I first went to it and saw it. I almost cried and I had a hard time breathing because it shocked me so much. It's the bridge from my dream. Even the landscape and the weather. I bet I had that dream a hundred times as a kid.
Have you crossed that suspension bridge? Go do it if you haven't. I've done it three times now, and the last time was with a friend from Montreal. She was terrified and refused to cross. She cried and said she couldn't do it. It took us half an hour to get across. We held hands the entire time. She had her eyes shut. When we got across, I looked at her and said: "you have just conquered a fear. How was it?" She said: "I'm still alive and breathing. Let's do it again." There you go.
OH yes I've crossed it many times. My son loves to go there when he comes for a visit. I'm not afraid of heights. Well, I guess that's obvious since I live in a hi-rise. lol
I watched the Exorcist for the first time when I was seven with a babysitter. It was the scariest thing I have ever seen. I didn't sleep for days. Stupid babysitter.
And don't worry about being one of those little old ladies, pushing a shopping cart, that no one wants to talk to; as long as you take a shower and don't load on the perfume, people will talk to you! And if you don't take a shower and you load on the perfume, you always have us :-) We will always talk to you! hehehehe...
I don't like heights, so I want to go ski diving really bad to get past it, wanna go? LOL Yeah, getting down the latter is the bad part. LOL

Aww, yeah, that was one scary ass movie when we were younger. Seriously, I don't think I have watched it since either.

Your Phobias are not so bad.
And don't worry about being one of those little old ladies, pushing a shopping cart, that no one wants to talk to; as long as you take a shower and don't load on the perfume, people will talk to you! And if you don't take a shower and you load on the perfume, you always have us :-) We will always talk to you! hehehehe...
