@onelonelywhitekid It's not the camera...It's a wide angle lens with vignetting.

Look into getting a canon t2i, then get something like a sigma 10-20mm lens for it.

But first...do some research.

hey...i have a dj table and a midi controller and want to plug them in and use them at the same time but only one will work...there both plugged into 2.0 usb ports..can anyone help?

@ultra13nerd Depends on your software, what are you using? If you are using Ableton, try going to Options > Preferences > MIDI sync > Select your controller(s) in that tab, and then turn them on at the "MIDI Ports" section.

@MrWimz As what I've read about the UltraNova, is that the USB Cable takes care of both Audio and MIDI, so it's hard to tell.

@MrWimz You're welcome =) Doesn't really matter if you send it as audio or MIDI, I believe I read sommewhere about an UltraNova VST included with the synth. I think he has midi overdub enabled, recorded the sounds and started them from the session-view launchpad.

I only bought the launch pad so I can loop instrumentals created on my Roland synth and guitar. I really have no need for ableton seeing how I can't get sound out of it any way. So I have a idea that I need some ideas and opinions on.

I was thinking of using this 10 port USB hub to plug the launch pad, synth and guitar (and speakers if I can) can I link them through this hub through the USB hub?

@TheRedDash um you cant use the launchpad and its looping unless its running on ableton....and just because everything is connected via usb doesnt mean the audio will match. you gotta look at the specs for each.

@TheRedDash If you have a good USB hub, you'd be lucky. Some of these USB hubs have much latency with MIDI, like the launchpad is receiving/sending. If you link your audio interface throught the hub, it can also have much latency in the Audio. I think you should get something like an Audio/Midi (Both in 1) interface and connect that one through USB or FireWire, and connect the Launchpad through another USB, depending on how much USB ports you have on your PC/Laptop. This is not with all USB hubs

@Ruktiet the Ultranova is a synth. It's polyphonic but not multitimbral. It's a fantastic little synth too. I love mine! The routing modulation is great and the VST pops up in Ableton or PT and you can edit in your DAW (I prefer using the synth buttons). There's also a free librarian you can download to store your sounds. +1 synth!

@DirtyDansDANK check out Madeon, he performs live with launchpad. Porter Robinson and Basto use the S4 both, Daft Punk uses a few Behringer controllers. And much more artists i can't recall right now!

@moodmusik It looked like he pushed one of the touch sensitive knobs to modulate the pitch. The 8 knobs can be assigned to modulate the sound by touching them.
