  • dont down play it hes awesome and you know it.

  • Nice.

  • SICK!

  • meh

  • Love this. ;D

  • Ho ! You got that ! Too much ! Really good run ! I had a bunch of pictures and impression listening to you ! Your expression is just perfect for me...Nice job mate !

    How do you call it?

  • SICK!!! SICK!!!

  • metronome

  • Wow I just want to jump in and jam with this fool, kick out th jams.

  • Great Vid!!!

  • I think when someone plays something that is not what they are supposed to play they add something new to it

  • this sounds awesome for real though. i love yalls band, its really tight.

  • That's the first time I seen a six string Bass being played up-close. Excellent demo.

  • i am not racist at all but do basses attract black guys or something? lol, because i have seen alot better black bass players than whites.

  • true aa this is my personal opinion but i think black people have natural talent in music(think of marcus miller, michael jackson, victor wooten, and so on

  • that's not true,guy.

guess ya no about Flea,Stu Hamm or Matt Freeman.

    Pino Palladino rocks too.

  • One name comes to mind when I hear "White bassist" and that's Jaco.

Oh and btw Flea fuckin BLOOOWWSS

  • Fuckin true

  • everybody speaks for jaco .. noone speaks for victor wooten .. you may say that many things of jaco are been "copied" by victor but victor steel have his uniques style of playing..

  • wooten is overrated

  • wooten is actually the best player ever. its not even meant to be controversial

  • you must be a spack to think victor wooten is the only talented bass player around, shred gets boring and fast i admit he is very talented on the bass but it just gets boring the same tricks over and over again im more into players with soul like larry graham and claypool and john entwistle the list could go on. also ive been playing bass for four years so i guess that was an understatement

  • @riquelmei

I know what your saying, but i disagree. That distinction belongs to Adam Nitti.

  • theres a lot of people out there who dont deserve the attention they get but victor wooten isnt one come on man get real.

  • Dude really!?? wooten is the one n only! if your saying hes overated then you must not play bass guitar

  • Try Geddy Lee (Rush), Chris Squire (Yes), Mark King (Level 42) Start with them.

  • All very true to the fact that they're all amazing white bassists.

None of them really paved the way for the bassists to come though. Jaco actually innovated something that everybody knows today. The fretless bass. What did any of the bassists you listed do to improve todays standards?

I'm by no means saying that they aren't as good, but who is more recognized as a legend rather than just a great bass player?

    Jaco.

  • omg the best bass player ever victor wooten is black it dont make eny difriten if you ar black or white its the same

  • I think the best bassist is Larry Graham. He basically created the slap and pop technique. My favorite bassists are John Paul Jones, Geddy Lee, and Les Claypool.

  • i'm black..i play guitar..most of what i play is hard rock, metal, and folk acoustic.you have just heard stereotypes and it makes it seem like black people are better..race makes no difference..

  • J A C O P A S T O R I US !!!!!!!!!!!!

  • talent

  • whats that model of bass? i usually can tell by the head stock but i cant get a good look at it.
