  • I don't understand why some white and black people have to make this an issue. This movie was about a women taking in a child who was homeless. I never thought about color like Sandra said.

  • Okay I love love love Sandra. Beautiful person, but I don't think she understood the complexity of the question. But again, love her..

  • So true! Sandra talks the truth and sense!

Also the guy talked really fast! :)

  • this woman is a complete genius. She's right, its not about what race you are, its about a mother loving a son. And she's right about people not questioning violence, but we question love so fast. :) She's awesome.

  • Leave it to the smiley guy to ask stupid questions. Ask hollywood idiot? She didn't direct nor produce the movie. She's a great actress. Where in the hell is jesse james jackson and al sharp tone when you need them? Ask Jesse why he cheated on his wife? Why ruin a great interview with race. Why not just have a bunch of brothas on from barbershops around the country and ask them why did they leave their families and leave the woman to raise their sons and daughters? Ask that Smiley or Sadly man.

  • Sandra Bullock is the most sexy woman in the world of Cinema.

  • Do these white people ever say "no" to this black stranger living under their roof, or must they agree to whatever he wants, scared if he doesn't get his way he will slaughter them all in their sleep?

  • Good point !!! Why do we question love?

  • She's SO right... Why does it always have to be about race? This is a beautiful, TRUE story so why do people have to warp it and make false accusations? Because they're BORED, that's why. Get a life. Go outside. Stop calling people racist and grasping at straws. End of story.

  • Sandy Bullcock is such a tool. She didn't even know that her husband was banging a tattoo chick on the side? What an idiot. Sandy Bullock, you are the winner of the biggest tool on the planet. Hey Sandy, maybe you should work on your performance in bed instead of in the movies.

  • Those are pretty Harsh words,Maybe she did know but didn't want to believe it.I pray all goes well for her!

  • Goddamn, dude - YOU again? Save it.

  • ....well in the movie The Curious Case of Benjamin Button the white guy is adopted by a black family

  • Sandra Bullock I LOVE YOU!!!!! An awesome answer. Why is it always black and white first?

  • I thought it was a great answer as well and it should never be a black or white thing just a few bad apples that alway's make it a race issue. When will we get past this???

  • this woman is smart!

  • Sandra says "lemonade, sweet, sweet lemonade" later in the interview. HAHAHA!!!

  • Thank you, Sandra, for saying its not about race all the time.

  • Im sick of black people still blaming the white people. It happend long ago, and the only people hanging on to it is black people.Getover it and move on and stop acting entitled.

  • Spoken like a true white racist. Thanks for proving Tavis Smiley's point.

  • She answered that question well.

  • Well I would say it's cuz that's what people want/like to see, like she said. It's what people want to see

  • I do not care if the story is true, that is the goal of their collective conscious is to bring everyone to believe they are OUR Saviors. NOT MINE!! My time and energy as well as my children energy will be given to uplifting spreading DIVINITY throughout OUR PEOPLE by listening, watching and speaking EVENTS that BLACK MEN AND WOMEN have done and doing in our COMMUNITY!!

  • More stories need to be told. The secret life of bees which showed strong black women who had heart and courage who took in the white girl. The Blind Side had to do with people reaching out from their hearts and loving each other no matter what color their skin was. Michael Ohr is a role model for all youth who have to endure living in the streets and then rising to live a better life. His transformation had help, no doubt, but it was he who transformed his life.

  • The Blind Side was an amazing, heartfelt movie...

  • she look SOOO gorgeous!

  • Sandra Bullock is Amazing. Enough said

  • I love Sandra!!!! I'm black and so do all of my black friends. She's smart, funny, witty, and very thoughtful when she answers controversial questions. She doesn't run from them, but she answers them respectfully and without being racially insensitive. Love the chick!

  • I hate Sandra. I'm black and I hate her and so do all my black friends.

She doesn't answer the questions, she dodges them.

Tavis: "Why do they got to make movies about white folks saving negroes?"

    Sandra: "...I dunno."

Did you actually watch the video or did you just stop by to praise Sandra the way you defend this movie: blindly?

She made the movie, she's worked in that sewer for 20 years and she "doesn't know" why the movie is so racist?

Well, that certainly clears things up now don't it!

  • Whoa ...Chill pill much?

I watched the movie and as a black person, I wondered "here we go another white savior movie" but the story is true.

How about we remove race from the equation. Based on what actually happened, a family who was fortunate enough to be privileged assisted a talented teen who was less fortunate and had less resources at his disposal.

And its great that all of your black friends hate her for a misguided reason, but all of mine like her. We can agree to disagree.

  • The thing is, the story was exaggerated. The real man the movie was about even said it kind of bothered him because he already had the talent and knew how to play ball. Sandra doesn't know why, because the people in the music industry who control people through mass mind programming, especially with race issues, pull all the strings as a part of an elite group who control the collective reality for power reasons. I know the real guy did not come to the big premiere, and that speaks volumes.

  • I mean to say I watched the video*.

BlackTruthForever I'm actually offended... As someone who has always been involved in uplifting the black community, you cyber bullying me and trying to invalidate a COMPLIMENT I made based on what I viewed and intently observed about her character... I do nothing Blindly? Your little attack/tirade is laughable and non-substantial. Come better next time? plz and thx

  • Given your remarks it was clear you enjoy condescension, which is why I commented to you the way I did.

And remove race from the equation. What planet do you come from? Mine's earth!

Race was the whole point of the movie and Tavis' question.

And if exposing logical fallcies is "cyber-bullying" than so be it.

You are not the spokesperson for black people. ALL blacks hate this movie!

You have no videos showing your face so for all we know you're a white person.

    Which I think you are.

  • You are soooo pissing me off. You approached me condescendingly and patronizing.... I only returned the favor.

I said my friends like her, not all black people. Apparently you speak for all dimwitted people. The film was based off of a family that helped a kid out. Its what actually happened. It wasnt made up.

And me being white... ::side eye::

I was President of the Black Women's Support Network at Cornell... VERY INVOLVED.

My name is Morgan James. Facebook me you little wild person.

  • MJ, again you have NO way of validating who you are.

So, until you doa video you are a white troll calling ITself "black."

And no I won't be wasting anymore time on you. Watching my fingernails grow would be FAR more productive.

  • bye girl.

  • @Morgy09 by any chance do you read Nora Roberts? I am reading a book of hers right now and the main charactor is Morgan James... I just thought it was funny. The book is called The Right Path

  • word? I always found my name non interesting, generic, but not all that common strangely enough. loll but i've grown to love and appreciate it. i'll have to google nora roberts then

  • @Morgy09 The book I have is Mysterious... has 3 stories in it and the one with Morgan is The Right Path. It was written in 1985

  • @Morgy09 shes racist

  • @Morgy09 Sandra Bullock and Angelina Jolie are two of the most beautiful, heart warming actress(s) in Hollywood.
