  • Yes I know Chan Tai Shan is one of the best Lama Pai guys ever, but he was also one of the best CLF guys around too. He taught both Lama Pai and CLF together. This is a CLF form with a Lama Pai salutation added on to the beginning. Just do a search here on YouTude for Sup Ji Kuen or Sup Ji Kau Da and you'll see all the CLF Sup Ji are very very similar to this form. Some of the stepping may be altered but that probably just the camera's perspectie.

  • I really like this form!

Lovely over-hand strikes, love the foot work.

  • awesome video!

  • That's not Lama Pai, That Choy Li Fut.

  • @ethomson0 Choy li fut salutes with the traditional Shaolin (hand over clenched fist) as the Lion R

  • @blackarawak83 OK, but there is a Sup Ji Kiun in CLF, and this looks like CLF. I thought it was CLF too.

  • @blackarawak83 My CLF's Sup Ji Kiun has nothing to do with this form, but is true that this looks like CLF.

  • @ethomson0 is typically of Lion Roar's styles (e.g Lama Pai or Pak hok Pai) to salute with hands claps together, unlike Choy Li Fut.

  • @ethomson0 actually, the demonstrator (Michael Parrella) in the video's teacher (Chan Tai San) was both a Lama guy and a CLF guy so that is why it may appear blended. Chan Tai San is one of the best Lama guys to have ever lived in the U.S.A. His students (including this performer) are arguably the best guys in U.S. now in Lama Pai. Point being that this is an 100% authentic Lama set being demonstrated by a 100% Lama Pai Master. Hope this clears any confusion.

  • Hmm intresting ive been thinking about taking kung fu and this seems like a good form

  • its the form im doing i love it. mixes in great with mma and kickboxing

  • sifu parella i would like to know if you can post eny video of a lama pai fighter defeating a jiujitsu fighter i ve been looking for a video but it seems other martial arts can not defeat jiujitsu

  • rubbish.jujitsu is old news.a good fighter of any style would whip a jujitsu man.

answer a fool ...according to his folly...

  • pafler:try Ninjutsu (Bujinkan) ... and any other military combat-style that knows a few UNgrappling techniques.I used a very easy move once, after he grabbed me aroud my waist with his legs... (it wasnt a real fight though...and i suck at ground fighting)

  • Cut me a break. What a ridiculous post. Come to the Southern Shaolin Academy in Ewing, NJ with your video camera and a BJJ fighter and we'll show you how to make him a cripple for life. Remember Sonny, BJJ only works in the ring.

  • very interesting.

  • ^_^ excellent

    your arms are like...knunchucks

  • There no longer available, but a new series will be out before the year is over.

  • I am interested in the instructional video you talk about in the video description. Is it still for sale?

    Thanks in advance.

  • don't spam me, douche!
