I would assume on such an exotic car that start up would be very quick. Is that a bad sign for the car and what's the problem?

@Black0nWhite These things where designed to house a 350 small block V8, it may not even be fuel injected so that may be why you hear that cracking sound.

@Black0nWhite if its real cold there and it sat for a few hours, no FI then it may have been the problem, but i truly believe its the higher than stock compression ratio (stock 350's have about 300hp- if that) that causes a hard start- if everything else is in line. Also Back pressure DOES NOT cause start up problems it causes tuning problems.
