i was really confused about chicken picking, but this really clears it up.

@theZoftime it' just the SOUND that u get, it may be done by hybrid picking, but hybrid pickin does not equals chicken picking. It's quite clear thing.

@RealKyloss I know man, I posted that comment a year ago. chicken pickin' is closer to hybrid than you think, its pretty much just a "snapped " version (using the fingers heavily, with a short pull-back on the strings). The main thing that screwed me up back then was a magazine article iread, where they claimed chicken pickin to be when you try grabbing he string with the pick and thumb at the same time to snap. It confused the hell outta me, and this gave me te rassurance i needed.
