Nice videos! I loved how they managed to squeeze so many characters into the story mode but not overuse them.

OK guys, some things you need to know about this part.

Some of you may know that the ROM of this particular game has a rather nasty copy-protection that kicks in as you travel to Icepeak, preventing you from continuing.

I've managed to get a save file that starts actually /in/ Icepeak, but it's after the introduction speech, and a misc. treasure chest has already been collected (though I'm pretty sure it didn't contain an item).

Besides that, everything else in in order.

Wow, Sega and/or Nintendo sure knows about these illegal ROM distributions! What i don't get, is why only when you travel to Icepeak? It coulda been when you for example travel to Sparkleton (in turns of following the "demo" logic), or when you actually start the game in the first place. Why Icepeak? What is so special about it that illegal distributions do not allow you to travel to Icepeak?

Also what does the game say when you attempt to travel to Icepeak?

Nothing, the game freezes just as Icepeak begins to fade in.
