india city streets are actually pretty safe if you know what you are doing, but the highways have those maniac truckers who drive on the wrong side of the road.
that is the one of most impressing thing about india. the traffic looks and is totally disordered and most of the drivers take a lot of risks but you will hardly see an accident occuring even on most extreme cases. For my part i believe india is the best place where one should learn how to drive. out of india u will drive anywhere under any circumstance u wont be scared of anything.

It' not bad traffic. It's actually a lot more efficient and cheaper than Western road management. I have lived in Indonesia for a while, it's similar there. Whoever comes first at an intersection goes first. No need for expensive traffic lights and road signs = very low taxes! In Australia everyone is always waiting at the lights. After a few weeks/months you get used to driving Asian style, and you realize it's more efficient. They don't have more accidents either.
