Classism has always been. Racism unfortunately has been the tool of the elite to keep black and white separate. If you go back and look in the history of slavery poor whites were among the most racist. Upper class whites enjoyed this because it allowed the illusion of inclusion. There are thousands of white males, myself included, that lost high paying jobs as well as their house and savings over the last few years or so because of the country's economic downfall. There are thousands of white males, myself included, that lost high paying jobs as well as their house and savings over the last few years or so because of the country's economic downfall. Now poor, we must now struggle, while barely making over minimum way to somehow find a way to pay for going back to college. Perhaps your people need to toughen up a bit, because that's what the rest of us has had to do.

For the most part, the slaves were well fed and given medical attention by their masters when needed. Many of them grew depressed after the emancipation proclamation, for they truly loved their masters.

All the poorest areas in US are either black or latino.. prisons are about 80% black and latino..sh*t aint changed as much as one might think. How come theres about 100X more budget allowed to military then to social housings or inner city developpment? THIS is what needs to change-- Priorities
