The box dosn't flex!!! It just needs mounted down... The entire box is moving, all you have to do is take the speakers out the box, and drive screws through the bottom of the box to through the body. Then screw the subs back in. Simple!!! Plus Nobody can steal them unless they have a lot of patience...

Do you like these subs? I have 2 in my jeep and in all honestly i dont think they have enough excursion in comparison to other brands. Have an alpine mp2000 amp, at 3/4 gain each sub gets about 1200w rms via volt meter. Its in a 10.4 cuft box, wont even really do a "hair trick"

@elcompajalisco I built one similar to that one and my spec using 3/4" MDF width 48" - length 36" - height 16 1/2" ported. the port was facing back and the speakers facing up no movement from that box what so ever and you want to talk about bass whoooo... I got them at 1 ohm with my hifonics class D (BXI 2006). I only have my gain at half and it's loud!!!

Nice setup... Pioneer and Kicker is a heck of a combination. I have a Pioneer AVIC X910BT 1 solobaric L5 and a 800 watt kicker amp. I'll be adding another L5 15 soon and a Crescendo 3k. Should sound pretty good.

@neonsector i think what he was trying to say was possibly adding some dynamat just to control a little bit of that. i have two l7 15's on a rockford fosgate t1000.1-bd cp amp in my 02 sierra extended cab. it was a shitload of work but i stripped the entire inside of the truck and laid dynamat all the way around. it makes it way cleaner and nothing shakes outside the truck.

its just a suggestion, but you might want to look into it. youll definitely be impressed by the results.

This amp is amazing, and like neon said, all you need is ONE. I couldn't imagine having more than one of these for anything. REmember- you can only get the gain up to MAYBE around half. I turned the gain on mine up to half and I had to reset my circuit breaker.
